Dr. Christodulos Stavens, MD

Chris has probably saved my life. He is personable and very skilled.

I’ve been with Dr. Stavens for 20 years for my mother and myself. He is an example of what we wish all doctors would be! He is caring, direct, explains everything patiently and brilliant as a medical professional in every area. I would trust my life and anyone I care about to him and recommend him to all who looks for a doctor in his field !

DR. Stavens is a good heart dr. in 2019 I went to ER with trouble and he put a stent in. since then I've had 3 follow ups at his Hanover office. Each has been a bad experience. if you have an appt. at 4 you can expect to see him at 6 for a 5 minutes about eating things that swim and fly. I visited him in February of 2021 and he decided to schedule me for a stress test. this is May and i had an appt. to see him at 455 the office was packed with abut ten people at that time. I didn't get to see him. His help was snooty. I thought i was going to do a stress test. but she said no that I didn't have insurance an it was denied. evidently they didn't try to schedule in February my insurance had changed at the end of March. she blamed me for not notifying them I felt they should of notified me if there was a problem so that I could of gotten it taken care of. the help forgot that patients are customers and they work for us. they hare to comfortable in their jobs

Dr. Stavens was the only doctor that would listen to me. I was passing out frequently and no other doctor could diagnose me. He figured it out and got me on a treatment plan. He also has helped with advice involving work and is very kind but direct. I trust this man with my life.

He is an excellent electrophysiologist who deeply cares about his patients. His expertise in diagnostics, treatment plan and his follow-up is phenomenal. I travel 60 miles to be his patient and I would choose no other.

Dr. Stavens is the best doctor I have ever been to. He listens to his patients, is a terrific diagnostician, devotes time with each one and actually cares about his patients like they are his family members.

Old school DR. I've seen three, trust him with my health.

He is the kind of Doctor I prefer, he tells you straight from the get go no beating around the bush. He saved me at 45 years old and ten years later I am still here.

I'm a retired physician and saw Dr. Stavens for cardiac syncope (passing out due to abnormal heart rhythm). He did a thorough work-up, including an EP study, and that revealed the problem, which was then addressed by an ablation. He and his staff are very respectful and kind. I can't comment on the category "ease of scheduling urgent appts," as I (fortunately) haven't had to do that. I traveled 100 miles to see Dr. Stavens, although there were closer EP specialists.

He diagnosed and is treating me for a-fib. He was very thorough. I would highly recommend him. I am extremely satisfied with my outcome. I am blessed to have him as my cardiologist.

Professional kind

Dr Stavens began treating my daughter at the age of 16. 11 years later he is still her doctor and she drives from Cincinnati to Louisville to continue under his care. My daughter is a cvicu nurse and is finishing her Doctor of family practice. Dr Stavens is on top of his game and is very focused on helping the patient maintain a productive lifestyle.

I felt Dr. Stavens would not listen to me. He was rude and did not treat me like I mattered or respected me as a patient. He treated me more like an employee and talked down to me.
