Dr. James Peoples III, DDS

I am a physician who moved to TX from the Northeast a couple of years ago. Last year a colleague of mine recommended Dr. Peoples for my oral surgery. Some of the negative comments on this site, did give me pause. However, after the visit and a wisdom tooth extraction, I can only report a superb experience. The office staff was friendly and professional. The office was clean, modern and welcoming. The visit with Dr. Peoples and his anesthetist was excellent. The procedure was successful, and the post operative recovery was quick and painless. Not sure what more can one ask for. During my professional career, I have seen hundreds of surgical offices, and met hundreds of surgeons. I would rank Dr. Peoples and his office at the very top. I have absolutely no reservation signing my name on this report.

Legally disabled after teeth extractions. Destroyed entire alveolar bone, sinus and compromised TMJ.

Incredibly rude. And him and staff were not consistently masked. I chose not to have surgery with him after attending consult.

1 star because I won't go back or recommend a friend. Although the procedure went smooth from billing to recovery, I had a bad experience just with Dr. Peoples unprofessional attitude on all 3 of my visits for a wisdom tooth extraction. They were rushed and he acted like he didn't want to be there or was bored. Usually doctors try to develop a little rapport with patients, but not this one. He is not your typical peppy friendly dentist. From first appearance, he didn't even greet me but just instructed me to come in and go to a room down the hall. On my follow up, I asked a question about the healing process and he replied in a rude sassy tone "Well, first I have to look at it." Visit must have lasted less than 5 minutes and he was already heading to the door, hurried to go back to his office. I got the impression that he didn't like me, although I don't think I should take it personal, but it was just by his tone and how he talked to me. I later found out from my dentist who referred

Doctor People has been my oral surgeon for many years and I would have to say he is the only surgon that I truth. When I first meet Dr. People I had a great fear of any dential procedure; however, he was able to comfort me and I developed great trust in abilities. He is extremely professional, technical, knowledge and hones . I have referred several friends to Doctor People and all of them have had glowing comments. I will highly recomment Dr. People for any oral surgery. He is the best.

My daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. James Peoples. He took the time to explain it step by step and he took great care of her, it went very smooth. His post op care was outstanding, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Peoples removed my wisdom teeth. My surgery was scheduled within a week. I felt little pain over the next couple of days and could eat regular food with a few days. Dr. Peoples is a nice guy to talk to as well.

Absolutely Nightmare : Made appt gave age other detail info.After taking out of school both kids.Will not see younger kid due to 8 Yrs age.Staff was very rude and hostile. Even Dr was very Hostile and whole staff was profiling and insulting.They never called back with insurance procedure approval as promised .When call office staff to find out approval status, Lady informed insurance denied .Asked denial report copy and try to provide fax no and email but she was very rude and refused.
