Waiting time was short, exam was quick but thorough, froze a spot on my face, didn't see any other areas of concern since a previous visit. Check in and check out were quick and simple.

Excellent! I made a last minute appointment for a suspicious spot on my head. Dr. McCarty took care of it right away, plus attended to a few others. He is professional and attentive.

Very expedient, professional, compassionate and attentive. He removed two annoying moles from my face, also a skin tag from my armpit. He and his assistant as well as his office staff are all amazing.

Disappointing. I was referred to Dr McCarty by my PCP for a skin check. When I asked about a specific lesion on my hand, Dr McCarty looked at it and said “that’s nothing”. When I asked “how can you tell”? He became defensive and said he “did not have the time to explain…that he sees too many patients to be explaining what he knows”. Referring back to my hand, I asked “can you tell me what the lesion might look like if it were concerning?” He said he was the doctor…if I want to know what he knows, I can “go to school and become a Dermatologist.” He said he could continue with the skin check and take biopsies if necessary…I told him “That’s not going to work for me. I require an explanation. Thank you for your honesty.” He said something along the lines of …good luck with Google as he exited the room. I was not charged a copay for my visit. You can imagine how I felt sitting in the exam room in a gown, having this conversation with Dr. McCarty as he and the MA stood there.

Dr McCarty is concerned about his patients and works hard to get to the root of what causes patients to have what they have. He explains everything you need to know and understand. A very good Dr with great staff!!

My problem had been attended to for three years before Dr. McCarty by three other dostors, with no positive results. Dr. McCarty fixed my problem with one procedure. He gave me specific instructions as to how to finish the treatment. It was completely successful.

PERSONAL CARE

I was late but they made accommodations so I didn't have to reschedule. Then the exam was not rushed, and I was treated with patience and respect. They are professional, kind, thorough and Dr. McCarty listens to his patients as well as explaining things in a manner that is easy to understand. His diagnosis has always been accurate and the treatment has always been effective.

Just had a six-month f/u check on a MOHS surgery site on my left nostril. As always, Dr. McCarty was friendly & professional while examining the results and said it’s looking good and to come back in a year.

Friendly as a matter of fact. Efficient as was the doctor's nurse assistant. I felt like I wasevaluated in a way such that my concerns were evaluated professionally based on education and experience. I walked away satisfied.

I would give zero stars if I could. He likes to freeze things. Literally will freeze melanoma on you time after time and make it grow and get bigger and then tell you that you never had melanoma before. People just think they had it when you have pathology report because you had to have to be MOHS procedure to remove it. DO NOT GO TO HIM!!!
