Dr. James Kim, MD

I have a very serious and a crippling nerve disorder. I have had CRPS for 22 years and it has spread through out my body. We were introduced to Dr. James Kim about 4 years ago. He is the first Doctor who changed my life. Dr. Kim listen’s, cares so much and works a treatment plan that works for you. No pushing pills! He worked with me and my husband and came up with an incredible treatment plan and I have a life again. He truly is one of the greatest doctors we have met and will always highly recommend anyone that has pain to reach out to Dr. Kim. You won’t be sorry. Thank you Dr. Kim from for the outstanding care and for all you do for me and my husband. I truly have a life again!!

The staff is terrible the lady That does the calls should be fired she never calls no one back and she doesn't answer the phone the staff is terrible on your appointments Doctors are fine but the staff needs to go If you see good reviews about the staff I think they're writing The reviewsIt's like they don't know what they're doing how they got their jobs I don't know

Dr. Kim did a detailed evaluation and review of my symptoms. His input was extremely valuable in directing me as how to continue my treatment.

Never got to meet Dr. because scheduler never called me.. I called 3 days in a row and on day 4 found another Dr. You need a new scheduler because you are losing patients. Really no excuse for this and very unprofessional.

Dr. Kim listens. This simple practice makes a huge difference in treatment of any chronic or other condition. He is always willing to listen and address your concerns and is happy to alter/change a treatment based on your feedback, this is a critical component of the treatment process. Dr. Kim will also argue with insurance companies, trying to save a dime on your health and will not let their opinions influence his.

Dr Kim is very compassionate. On my initial visit he correctly identified my issues and initialized a treatment plan. With his help, my pain level dropped from 9 to a 2! I'm extremely thankful I found him.

Dr. Kim not only listens to you and what you're hoping to achieve, but will go out of his way to find the best possible treatment options. Dr. Kim has repeatedly stood up to WC, writing rebuttals to their "boiler plate" denials. Dr. Kim has been a genuine blessing in both my pain management and my overall well-being. His personality, expertise and dedication to patient care are some of the best (if not the best) I have ever witnessed. I can't say enough great things about him, his staff and their dedication to patient care.

Dr. Kim is an honest and knowledgeable person with a sense of compassion. You won't find a better doctor in pain management. Using multiple methods to control pain whilst minimizing any potential associated risks; he's your man.

Dr. Kim is a terrific doctor, professional and well rounded. He showed a genuine interest in my chief complaints and went out of his way to get my WC to approve my medications and treatments. After a few months under his care, he decreased my pain, swelling, and numbness of my hand. I am very disappointed that my WC no longer has him in the MPN network. He and the staff at Advance Care Specialists are respectful, easy to communicate with, helpful, professional... wonderful. Thank you Dr. Kim!
