Dr. James Gahagan, DO

Every appointment with Dr. Gahagen is always looked forward. This doctor is the perfect doctor for Family Practice. He’s very smart and wastes no time to the reviewing my labs, addressing everything presented line by line. His expertise has shown me a much improved approach to health treatments for me and why I am the way I am. At 69 I think he is my favorite doctor because of his knowledge, skills and kindness.

He is one of the Best doctor in the Pensacola area. I had my 6mo health review and discussion going forward. I recently had pacemaker implant and was have some difficulty. Dr Gahagan new exactly what might be the cause. Sure enough so far so good the new medication is working. This doctor is really, really good!!

As usual, Dr. Gahagan, listened to what I had to say. He didn't poo-poo me at all. He makes sure you understand what's happening. He discusses all the options of treatment you have. A Doctor, I highly recommend.

Dr. Gahagan is so kind and knowledgeable. He never seems to be in a hurry to leave the room and wants to give me time to understand. I like that he never seems to push his knowledge to impress, but gives enough information that helps me make decisions. If he ever leaves the Sacred Heart group, I probably will leave it also.

Check in was a breeze as I did it online and was thanked by receptionist for doing so. I was called earlier than my appointment time and all went well with my lab results. Dr. Gahagan, as always was professional and caring. I always enjoy seeing him as he genuinely cares for his patients and thanks me for choosing him as my doctor.

He is always helpful and he goes over your blood work results and explains each one. If there’s a problem he tells you the best course of treatment . Hope he will always be my doctor. I trust him and I know he puts my health first.

I love De Gahagan, he’s a very good Dr. if he find something he gona send you to another dr if he can’t do it I’m always telling people how good my dr is. I’ll give him a 10 star if it was there.

Dr gaheagan knows me I feel like he cares about me and my health. he actually looks at my bloodwork and adjust medication and vitamins as needed.The office is always friendly. I never have to wait long.

Because of his thoroughness, our senior health issues are under control, allowing us to age gracefully, healthy, and supported. Dr Gahagan is our Primary Doctor and he is the absolute best! As is his staff. I am hard to please so that says a lot! Very thorough and always takes a minute to hear what you have to say! My husband and I both feel we are getting quality care!

After today, July 7, 2021, our decision may be to find another doctor that gives a crap about their patients. We've been patients of Dr. Gahagan since 2013. Dr. Gahan used to be more attentive to his patients needs and we didn't feel like he was on the clock. That is not the case anymore. I don't understand what has changed but he needs to find his soul and heart again. Dr. Gahagan is on vacation this week and no one else in his office is qualified to sign off on a prescription refill. We are so disgusted with how the office is run and how rude some of the staff treats people.

Excellent staff and doctor! As an established patient, I was able to make a same-day appointment. Dr. Gahagan and his team are very thorough and very caring! He took time to explain the condition to me, and they called in my Rx immediately. I left with my questions answered and an understanding for my treatment plan.

I have lived in Pebsacola since 2002, dr Gahagan is my 4th doctor, as the others transferred away. And boy am I glad they did. Dr Gahagan us by far the best. He has all the tine in the world for me, good eye contact, happy and smiling on every visit. He keeps me informed and on top of my numbers and over all wellness. The best part is, he tells me I’m healthy and look well. Those few words of encouragement to a (young) senior is just what the doctor ordered. It’s the best medicine.

Dr Gahagan is a very compassionate and caring physician. I feel like I am talking to a friend instead of someone that doesn’t really care about my well-being. He takes time with his patients with recommendations on your healthcare, and wants to ensure you are comfortable with your medical results after each visit. I highly recommend him as your primary caregiver. He is wonderful.

One of the best (if not the best ) doctors I have had.....and I have had many specialists and doctors. Very compassionate. Meets the patient where they are at as far as working out a treatment plan that they are comfortable with. Looks at the big picture, presents different options, reviews input of patient, is an excellent listener. Very thorough and pleasant.
