Dr. James Carlson, DO

Dr. Carlson and his team are just the best! They make you feel comfortable and truly listen to your concerns. He is knowledgeable and answers questions with up-to-date research putting it into language that’s easy to digest. I highly recommend him and his team. (And bonus, he’s got a good sense of humor!)

Dr. Carlson is very experienced in his profession. I feel comfortable and heard. His office is quick about replying to messages.

Dr. Carlson is a very down to earth person. He covers absolutely everything, leaving me with almost no questions. He delivered my first baby VIA cesarean, and did an excellent job at doing so. I chose him to be my OB for my second child, and I’m very happy with the care I receive. Thank you !

I've been with Dr. Carlson for about 10 years (since my first of two pregnancies). He has walked me through a live birth, a c-section and all the joys of an aging body after children. Dr. Carlson had a hand in helping some close friends of mine through some crazy stuff as well. Not only is he alert to what is happening in our bodies, he is calm and caring and makes you feel comfortable with whatever is going on. He sits comfortably in the room with you and allows you to ask any questions you have. He has never made me feel rushed or silly. I would recommend Dr. Carlson to any woman, especially those feeling any anxiety in their care. He will help you, I promise!

I switched my care to Dr. Carlson when I was 32 weeks pregnant and I could not be more thankful that I did. He takes time to explain things and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients. I felt like he really takes the time to get to know his individual patients’ needs/concerns and I was always made to feel like I was cared for. Luckily I was able to also have Dr. Carlson deliver my baby (my first) and he was amazing. Again, genuinely cared about my well-being and made sure we could follow my birth-plan as long as there weren’t complications. He was encouraging during delivery and I felt very safe with him as my care provider. So, so glad I took that leap and switched providers- my only regret is not doing it sooner.
