The MDVIP Program has a thorough and comprehensive list of tests, blood panels and screenings that are not offered in regular exams. The time allotment on a visit is more than the average 20 minutes. Dr. Palacio spent two hours going over test results, explaining preventative health options, family health history and answering all of my questions. He called me right after he got some test results. If you do not feel well, he will see you right away. Dr. Palacios’ practice is current and up to date in the medical field of women’s health. I highly recommend Dr. Palacio.

Finally a physician who understands how to provide women with optimal health results! His up-to-date extensive knowledge of hormone therapy, thyroid dysfunction, and all things women's health is unsurpassed. Dr. Palacio listens, takes the time to educate and values my input. I'm a very grateful patient who is enjoying optimal health in my mid 50's, thanks to Dr. Palacio!

I have seen Dr. Palacio for almost 20 years. He is great, patient and compassionate. I would still be going to him if he hadn't of switched to what I call a "club". It cost $2,000/year to join his special club just to see him. That does not include any office visit charges. So disappointed that he chose to only cater to the rich of Bend.

I've been seeing Dr. Palacio for 3 years for symptoms of menopause, including migraine. He has has worked with me on hormone replacement therapy and takes time to answer questions and explain the latest research. However, from the start his office staff have been very difficult. They rarely answer the phone, give confusing and inaccurate information about insurance and the doctor's availability, and make mistakes with billing. Most recently I received my first bill for two appointments I had over a year ago. The office mis-billed my insurance, lost a referral from my primary care physician, and billed me so late that I cannot deduct the cost of the visits for tax purposes. I understand that he has new billing staff, but too late for me. I would recommend Dr. Palacio for someone wanting HRT advice who is willing to wrestle with the front office staff to get it, but personally will not be returning to this practice.

Dr. Palacio was very warm and approachable. He had a flip book of the female anatomy that we reviewed and discussed potential causes of my condition, and the surgical options available to me, from least-to-most invasive. He took the time to clearly explain the procedure options, and the risks and benefits of each in a clear, easy-to-understand way, without being condescending. He was up-to-date on best practices. I felt confident that I was in good hands as I was being rolled into the OR.

Believe me when I say I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Dr. Palacio to any and all women who are seeking a really wonderful, caring and so informative doctor for their OBGYN care. Each time I come out of an appointment with Dr. Palacio I feel enlightened and lifted up. He is the best ever. You will love him! And his staff is professional, caring and welcoming too. Go ahead and make the appointment, you won't regret it.

Dr. Palacio is one of those rare physicians who automatically makes you feel at ease at an appt. which is so intimate and not one any woman looks forward to. His knowledge, warmth & empathic manner allow you to discuss any issue & ask any question in total comfort. I am 72 yrs. old & have had my share of woman issues. I trust Dr. Palacio explicitly.

So thankful I found Dr. Palacio!! He is kind, compassionate, completely thorough, and demonstrated total interest in me and my concerns. Although a total abdominal hysterectomy could not be avoided, it went extremely well. My recovery has been fantastic! My family and friends marvel at how well I am doing. :-) Yvonne

Dr Palacio has a wealth of information about menopause and hormone replacement therapy. He has been so helpful finding the right retiming for me. He is a great listener and always checks to make sure I have all my questions answered.

Dr. Palacio genuinely cares about his patients. He always has a smile on his face and puts his patients at ease. He takes the time to explain what's happening in my body during my exams. He keeps up with the latest research. I appreciate that he believes in the use of Hormone Creams for women in their menopausal years. Dr. Palacio is the only Doctor I know of in Bend that will prescribe creams for hormone replacement therapy. I highly recommend Dr. Palacio for women of any age.
