Dr. Hyder Jamal, MD

I can’t stress enough how thorough and kind Dr Jamal has been with me over the years. We have early colon cancer in my family so I have had quite a few colonoscopies with Dr Jamal. I recently had another issue that needed investigation and he explained everything so that i could really understand what we were looking at. He was very thorough and ordered test to exercise caution. It made me feel like he was really taking it seriously which put my mind at ease. I can’t say enough about his fantastic bedside manner. Thank you Dr.Jamal

This Doctor is completely uncaring and unsympathetic to his patients. He talks at you not to you. He was 1/2 hour late for my last appointment. He just waltzed in the door plopped down in his chair and started in talking. I guess his majesty is too important to offer any kind of apology for being late. I still don't know what was wrong with me and what the ultimate treatment goal is. My two appointments with his have consisted of him telling me a test result without any kind of explanation. Just what the test result was. So now he wants me to have an MRI of my gallbladder area. No explanation of why it is needed , just do it! This test puts all or part of your body is narrow dark chamber. It is very claustrophobic. So I called his office and asked for anti-claustrophobic medicine. That was a week ago! So for, no answer from the good doctors office. You would think that my trying to be accommodating to his requests would get a better response from him! You would be wrong!

This doctor codes all procedures in correct Was report to the insurance He was advised of the wrong coding many times at no vail Not sure if he knows how to code different procedures on what is preventative and what is not

Dr Jamal is extremely knowledgeable in what he practices, and above all an excellent doctor, not only is he very professional in what he practices but he also cares about his patients over all 5 star great doctor

This is more about his office than the doctor. He performed the procedure. Scheduled follow up was with his med tech. File was not accurate. Med tech had to go to another doctor for explanation [Jamal was not available]. At no time did Jamal explain to the patient [in lay terms] the results. Billing was abysmal. Office did not accurately bill insurance [Blue Shield]. Finally got a bill six months after procedure. Called office to get a 'detailed' version of the bill. Repeated calls to his office....no answer! Is his medical practice worth it?

The worst doctor I ever went too.

Excellent attentive and thorough. I trust him completely.

Dr. Jamal saved my life by performing professionally and ethically a procedure to diagnose an early stage cancer few years ago. The follow-up care offered by him to me to treat and cure the disease, give me the responsibility to recommend him to others in need for diagnose and cure of GI health issues.
