I saw Dr. McPherson for two disc replacements in my neck. To say that I was terrified, in pain and completely overwhelmed is an understatement. Dr. McPherson and his staff, especially Jack his assistant and Britney his surgical coordinator were amazing. My surgery was a huge success and Dr. McPherson also got me in very very quickly. Dr. McPherson and his assistant Jack were wonderful. They explained everything in detail. I chose not to have surgery yet, but would trust him if and when I do.

Unhelpful. Bland and monotone. No options or sympathy given except “sorry I know you’re frustrated”. Bad experience.

Dr McPherson took so much time with me and did an excellent job of explaining everything. I didn’t fill rushed and he was happy to explain and answer all my questions. I am very glad I went to see him.

Did not explain condition or any specifics. Did not engage in any consult about my concerns. Basically could have gone straight to PT. The consult was over in 5 minutes. Maybe less.

Dr McPherson was patient. He did not recommend surgery as a first option. He said we should try to go with what we know has worked in the past for my pain. You show me my x-rays my spine and explain what was going on with my back. Going with physical therapy at home, and the injections that I've used in the past. Hi highly recommend him as your specialist for your spinal issues.

Waited a long time after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. Felt rushed during consult. Notes contained inaccuracies.

He was quite late to my appointment. He hurriedly came in and introduced himself but didn't apologize for being so late. He explained what my problem was and what he could do for me. I would have liked him to explain the surgery in more detail and to make sure I understood the procedure.

Dr McPherson and his staff took wonderful care of me..my surgery was a complete success and I couldn’t be happier.my back feels better than it has in years.

15 years ago Dr. McPherson and I began our journey to “giving me my life back!” It took a while but he never gave up on me! If you are looking for someone who actually cares whether or not you are living your best life, he’s your man! He allows you to be a part of the plan, and he goes above and beyond to ensure your care is complete! I personally drive 76 miles round trip to see him but I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my spine! Had L3-4 decompression / fusion in late October (21). Back skiing in 4 months. Techniques used are state of the art, compared with the fusion I had many years ago it cannot be beat. The my-spine procedure is more accurate than other methods and with potential side effects. Was walking same day (a little) and 2-3 miles within a week (previously I was in the hospital for 10 days). Dr and staff (Chris) were very responsive th o my needs and we did all we could for several years before the surgery was last option to relieve issues.

Very up front - tells it like it is. Gives options. Several family members and friends have had surgery with Dr McPherson and they have all been extremely satisfied.

After three surgeries on my neck, the third one did the trick. I first had an ACDF C-3 thru C-6 and it failed due to loose screws, the second surgery was the PCDF C-3 through C-7 and again it failed. The third one I had both, and ACDF C-6, C-7 with a cage and then the PCDF C-3 through T-1. Finally it fused!!! Dr. McPherson is a master at his craft, the office is friendly enough but I am just glad Dr. McPherson took care of me. I highly recommend him.

I was diagnosed with a synovial cyst in my spine pinching off the sciatic nerve. The pain was excruciating. I saw Dr. McPherson in May of 2020. He looked at the MRI and he recommended a minimally invasive procedure to remove the cyst. The doctor I saw for a second opinion recommended fusing the discs at L4/L5 (6-to-12-month recovery time) and removing the cyst. I went back to Dr. McPherson for an opinion. He still recommended the conservative approach to remove the cyst. I chose to go with his recommendation…I am SO glad I did. 45 minutes of surgery (June 3, 2020) and a 1 week easy recovery took care of the problem. That was two years ago…no pain, no issues! Dr. McPherson is an experienced, established physician, yet talks to me like I’m an intelligent adult. His staff worked overtime (sometimes at midnight) getting me through through the pre-op requirements during COVID. I HIGHLY recommend him! I had such sever leg pain that I would fall back into bed when I tried getting up in the morning. Dr. McPherson performed a fusion of L4-L5. Following surgery, the only pain I had was at the surgery site. Once healed, I am able to sit, stand, bend and walk with no pain at all.

Not the best bedside manner, but he knows what he’s doing.
