Doesn’t care about patients
Should have looked more closely at reviews, long distance to go, multiple visits explained interest in surgery for permanent correcting the pain; but after months and miles I was told nothing wrong with me and nothing he can do. I politely held in my frustration and said thanks. But then office called to schedule another appt with 5 hours of travel time? I informed them what and declined. Well turns out he was trying to get more money out of me, and is ignoring the pharmacy requests to refill! The medication doesn’t help so it’s fine, but interesting to call yourself a Hippocratic oath follower and pinch pennies. From other reviews maybe he does have something against veterans. Save your time and money and stay away.

I am forever grateful for Dr. Sharf. He is professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. I went to him for a second opinion regarding my herniated discs. He answered all my questions and concerns. I never felt hurried or ignored. Dr. Sharf truly listens to me. I had a disc replacement surgery and it was a total success. Thank you Dr. Sharf!

I had a positive experience with Dr.Sharf. He explained everything carefully, answered all my questions, and was able to provide quality care which relieved my pain. Other doctors I went to were not able to do that. Thanks!

When I went to Dr. Sharf, when his office was in Pinellas Park, I was in terrible pain. He was very patient and carefully explained his diagnosis and options to me and my wife. Surgery was the only real option. After Dr. Sharf performed the surgery on my spine and a reasonal time of rehabilitation, I am 100% pain free. If I or a member of my family has back issues, Dr. Sharf will be the ONLY doctor that I will go to.

I am a disabled Army veteran and was charged $150.00 for the doctor to fill out a veteran’s disability form, in which he did not complete the form in its entirety nor accurately, so I was unable to use the form. I have since requested a refund, but staff will not return my calls. A medical group that rips off veterans is just deplorable. Patients and veterans beware!

I had to see him twice due to a work related injury.. both times I felt that his medical treatment regarding my care was driven by pleasing the insurance company/my employer and not what was medically/patient centered care. After my visit with him the second time, I left the office in tears. I would avoid him like the plaque. Recently I broke my ankle and thankfully had the good fortune of being treated at Morton plant by Dr. Herema. He is a orthopedic surgeon who is ethical and cares.

I was hesitant to see Dr. Sharf after seeing his ratings and the two negative reviews. But, my experience was the total opposite. He explained everything perfectly, was willing to listen and answer questions and was very personable. I hope this review will bring up his ratings.

I was told to get an MRI and bring it in for a follow up. I came back in and this doctor walked in and told me that I could have an epidural or surgery. Then he said there would be some paperwork and he walked out, never to be seen again. He did not go over the MRI with me or even tell me the diagnosis. How can one make any type of informed decision, when I am not even sure what exactly is wrong other than a protrusion that is hitting a nerve and I only know that from the MRI report I read?

I wish I had taken the advice of another reviewer and walked away from this Dr. And his unprofessional staff. The clues were there from the beginning. I received paperwork for an important procedure and it was half filled out for someone else and part mine. Personal information. I could not get them to answer phone so I had to drive there ea time to straighten out a mess. My procedure was 23,000 $ Dr said arthritis, I got second opinion I had 2 bulging disc, spinal stenosis, scoliosis,, warned!!!
