Dr. Hina Fullar, MD

I have had several psychiatrists in several different states. I find Dr. Fullar to be compassionate, insightful, straightforward, and very knowledgeable. I very much appreciate our work together.

Dr. Fullar was judgmental, acted superior, and in the end prescribed lamictal for my manic state, which made it much worse. She continued to maintain that couldn't be the case, and I believed her. A year later, my mental health was in shambles and my marriage was rocky, and I finally googled "lamotrigine mania" and found that it can indeed lead to worsening mania in some people. Finding a new psych doc was life-changing for the better. Don't settle for a pysch doc who's superior-acting and overconfident.

Dr. Fullar is the first psychiatrist I have ever seen. I have seen several therapists over the years but avoided psychiatrists because I was under the impression that they just confirm therapists' diagnoses, prescribe medications, and don't spend much time with their clients. Dr. Fullar not only met my expectations but went above and beyond. She spent months diagnosing me and usually spent the entire 50-minute appointment time with me. I felt listened to and was able to confirm a diagnosis I didn't want to acknowledge. Combined with the research I have done and the information she has provided, I am no longer embarrassed about how my brain works. My life is much better now and I truly appreciate all the help Dr. Fullar provided.
