Dr. Heo-Jeng Ooi, MD

Dr. Ooi deserves more than 5 stars. He is absolutely, and by far, the best physician I have ever been to. He is incredibly attentive to his patients and he truly takee time to dig into the underlying cause of an issue. His office staff is also very friendly. You will wait a long time if you come to this office, but it will be worth it. The reason you're waiting a long time is because Dr. Ooi puts a lot of time and effort into seeing and caring for every patient. If you want an outstanding physician, you might have to wait longer, but such is the case for anything good in life! If you have any eye issue that hasn't been solved yet, come here. You will get closer to a solution than probably anywhere else. Again, I could not more highly recommend Dr. Ooi.

I got a quick appointment when I noticed an eye problem. The wait time was short, but I think he fit me in after a short lunch. I got a thorough examination with a prognosis of wet macular degeneration. He explained everything to me in terms I could under stand, and the treatment. His office worked with my insurance company to get me the best medication, and he began the treatments in just a couple of days. He is one of the best doctors I have had experience with.

I had a bad fall on June 5 , 2022 The U. P. M. C . we’re giving me the runaround. They told me twice she would call me tonight . When that didn’t happen my friend Chuck Punzell highly recommended Dr . OOI , He told me Dr. OOI was was a excellent Caring Doctors who spent a lot time in examination of my eyes . He spent a lot of time in answering my questions. His whole staff was very nice and went out of there way to make me feel comfortable. His top notch assistant Bill even came out of the office to cross me across the street. Who does that today ? Give that man a raise for excellent service . So if your experiencing eye problems. and you don’t know who to call I would highly recommend you make a appointment with Dr. OOI . Had cataract surgery and was very nervous and scared. Dr Oii explained everything to me, and went over every little thing that he had to do. He made it a lot better for me to deal with it. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Oii, and also very friendly staff. I had to sleep through the cataract surgery, but that was just me having a anxiety issue, would of been nice to stay up and talk with him though it, cause he would of enjoyed the talk.
