Highly Recommend, so Kind and Friendly
I was admitted to the hospital for 3 weeks due to a pregnancy complication. Dr. Leftwich was my doctor the first week I was in the hospital. She was amazing, so great at explaining what was going on with my pregnancy in a way I could understand, and she was extremely encouraging and optimistic about me and my baby's outcomes. She's refers to herself as a nerd when it comes to medical research, and her enthusiasm is contagious. Despite the medical complications, she was adamant that I shouldn't have to give up my birth plan (within reason) and was willing to work with me to help me have the labor and delivery I wanted. She even picked out the doctor she thought would be best to work with me for the week I was due to give birth, who was also great (Dr. Anna Whalen).
