Really rude and grumpy before she left the practic
She was really rude at the end. I loved going to her and did so for years. The last couple of years she became very grumpy and rude and short with you when you asked questions or wanted clarification. I was not a person anymore. Just a thing to push through the office.

Dr. Sojourner is very professional while very understanding and able to communicate well. She is a doctor who doesn't sugar coat much. She tells you like it is and what you as a patient need to do to get well or better. Some physicians tell you what you want to hear but with Dr. Sojourner she brings out all of the facts and makes you realize health is not a game. She is also very compassionate and truly wants to know you as a person and not just a statistic. I have been going to her office for quite some time and feel like family there.

We have been patients of Dr. Sojourner for 15 years and find her to be an excellent clinician who keeps abreast of current/improved medical practices. She is also extremely through, takes time to listen, watches lab results carefully and prescribes judiciously, especially concerning addictive analgesics. As a retired R.N. I'm pretty adept at recognizing good practitioners and Heather Sojourner is one of the best!

I have been seeing Dr. Sojourner for over 10 years. I have recommended others to her practice as well. She found my osteoporosis when no one else would have because I was young at the time. She is very thorough, proactive, knowledgeable, and gives the very best treatment for your specific concerns. I am convinced she has made a great difference in my healthy life! So grateful for her and her trusted practice!

I have been seeing Dr. Sojourner for probably 10 years. My experiences with her have always been professional and caring. She is direct but in a way that is calming. When I was incredibly sick she and Crystal checked in on me a few times to make sure I was doing ok. They remember me and make me feel like we are long time friends. I have never had a doctor that is more willing to teach me as well as treat me. She is thorough in her care and always addresses my concerns.

I went to Dr. Sojourner for about 15 years, she used to be great but now you always wait past your time and then again in the exam room. When she finally comes in she is grumpy, in a hurry and not thorough. She very obviously doesn't care about you as a person. She was mad that she had to re-do FMLA paperwork because didn't fill it out right the first time since she was in a hurry. She even told me she wouldn't fill it out again, even though it was her mistake. She gets annoyed when you ask too many questions about your diagnoses. Her MA Crystal even apologizes for her rude and abruptness. I have had other friends and family members go and discontinue going to her because of the same reasons.

Worst doctor visit I've ever had. Dr Sojourner's attitude towards me was rude and uncaring, she was dismissive of my concerns, made body shaming comments several times, didn't even help with the issue I made the appointment for, and told me to follow up with another doctor. Completely unprofessional and flat out mean. It was my first appointment with her, and will be my last.
