I was referred to Dr Koudsi by my pcp a little bit ago for some adult acne I was dealing with. Naturally, I looked up the reviews before I made an appointment and saw that they were so negative. Normally, I do not like to base my judgements on reviews, so I decided to go see for myself because I know everyone's experience might vary. Upon first meeting her, she automatically went in and told me ALL the schooling she did and her credentials, which was odd. But what really set me off, was when she was discussing the acne scars on my cheeks and told me, "You know, I was going to suggest doing laser treatments to get rid of the scars but I didn't think you could afford it." To top it all off, she tried to push $200 facials that her "friend with a lot of experience does". Also the sunscreen and cleanser she pushed me to buy were mediocre at best.

My examination was a joke. She spent between 5 and 10 minutes examining my skin. I have had over 100 moles removed in my lifetime and I had not been to the dermatologist for nearly 2 years because of COVID. Then she wanted only cash for my co-pay but would reluctantly accept a check, luckily I had one with me. This was a very disappointing referral and I will go to my husband's outstanding dermatologist as soon as my insurance changes in September. This was a waste of $20.00 and my insurance company's money. The visit left me more concerned than ever about several spots on my skin. One star is too good a rating...it should be negative one star!

SUMMARY: Dr. Koudsi and her office lied to me about covering a charge in order for me to go through with a procedure and have since not returned my calls and not followed up with me. FULL: When I was deciding to go through with it, Dr. Koudsi noticed that I was disappointed by how expensive the removal was, and quote said “we will cover the charge from the Lab for the pathology” in order to convince me to go through with it. The receptionist who took my transaction also repeated the same statement when I paid. When I received the bill from the lab, I called Dr. Koudsi’s office to make sure they were going to take care of it and the Office Manager said that they never pay for it and I would be responsible. I have since left 3 messages for Dr. Koudsi to call me back, and she, nor any of her staff members, have returned my calls. It is frustrating that Dr. Koudsi and her office lied to me about covering a charge in order for me to go through with a procedure.

Dr. Koudsi saved my life when she diagnosed a sever allergic reaction to medication that caused blood blisters all over my hands. She made a diagnosis then confirmed it. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Koudsi seeing me immediately as a new patient. She is the kind of old school doctor that we need more of with wisdom she has gained from years of practicing medicine

Best skin specialist is Dr Hala Koudsi, MD. She is careful, caring, and precise...

Dr.Koudsi was very professional, gentle and thorough.

I had a very positive experience at Dr Kousi's office, everyone was nice, appointment was easy to book, office was clean, Dr was great.

Dr. koudsi is very thorough and knowledgeable. she diagnosed my problem and was able to refer me to a surgeon promptly.

First time visting Dr.Koudsi and I had a good experience with her. Straight forward and took care of me right away. I can definitely see myself going back.

I will never see this doctor again. Stay away!!! Her bed side manner is terrible. She is condescending, rude, and makes you feel like everything is your fault. I have no respect for this doctor. She runs her office terribly, doesn't know what is going on, and her medical approach was to charge me an arm and a leg with no results to show. SO DISAPPOINTED!

Very thorough physical examination and detailed explanations for all my concerns. I'm very impressed with Dr. Koudsi's knowledge and professionalism as well as her in depth descriptions for my future skin health.

The doctor was excellent. She takes the time to ensure she checks her patients properly and addresses all their needs accordingly.

Courteous and professional office staff! I was immediately impressed by that! I have now visited a few times, and was taken after a very short wait each time. I describe Dr. Koudsi as patient, caring, and very engaging. She explained in detail every thing she was recommending and then doing. I was VERY pleased with my whole experience. I saw her as a substitute because the previous doctor I had used was unavailable, but I am now going to stay under Dr. Koudsi's care.

Dr. Koudsi was extremely professional and personable in dealing with me. I never felt like I was a time slot instead of a person. Her office staff was courteous and efficient. I would recommend her to anyone in need of her expertise.
