Great Doctor w/ wonderful attitude
Dr. Yassin took the time to explain my health situation after a stroke, how the Watchman worked, and could alleviate most of my concerns about a reoccurance of strokes.

Had TEE done by another cardiologist and was told no PFO. Neurologist recommended Dr. Yassin. Called and was able to get an appointment that day. Dr. Yassin went over options and recommended that another TEE be done in which he was able to find PFO. Other reviews stated Dr. Yassin is arrogant but that is not the case - he is confident in his abilities and that puts me at ease. He is personable and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Yassin - excellent cardiologist!

Highly recommend
I had reason for an urgent appointment and was able to seen within a day. They took things very seriously and when they realized the fluid around my heart was significant and Dr. Yassin got me into the Cath Lab at St. Joe's immediately. He met me there and successfully did the procedure. I was very grateful and impressed. I speak very highly of him to others and recommend him!

My complaint is not so much with Dr. Yassin as with his office. They are ALWAYS slow to return the calls of the pharmacist to get prescriptions refilled. It took ELEVEN days for the office to return the pharmacy call to refill my last prescription. I just changed to a different cardiologist.

Dr. Yassin saved my grandmother's life. He was willing to do a high-risk surgery for a malfunctioning heart valve. She did not have a single complaint about his care. Our family is beyond grateful that she is alive! Within hours of her surgery on 9/2/21, we can see a major improvement in her. She now has a second chance at life thanks to this doctor and his OR team. Forever grateful for his expertise and courage to perform her surgery.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Yassin?
Dr. Yassin is extremely arrogant and has terrible bedside manner. He does not feel a need to consult with the patient and makes a lot of assumptions without hearing the patient’s concerns. He is always late for a scheduled appointment and never apologizes for causing any inconvenience. I would not recommend Dr. Yassin.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Yassin?
Dr. Yassin was rude and dismissive to my 76-year-old mother, who was in the hospital waiting for results from CT scans and MRIs. Because her cardiac scans were clear he told her it was all in her head, she didn't need to be there, to get medication for anxiety. When my mom (for whom English is a second language) asked if he could prescribe this, his reply that it had to be her pcp was delivered rudely as well. When her MRI came back, turns out she had had a stroke the day before.
