Dismissive
I haven't been able to walk properly for almost a month. From previous visit at the ER, they did MRI of lumbar and brain which were both clear. He decided to do an EMG to find the root cause if it was neurological or not and we found nothing abnormal. Immediately, he said it was most likely due to anxiety since i have a hx of mental health concerns. I know I have anxiety, however, it is moderate AT MOST. I still can't walk properly. He was dismissive from the start of the appointments and doesn't ask much questions about your issues. Save your time and don't go.

Doesn’t listen
I’ve moved to this area. My previous doctor gave me shots beginning with b. I can’t get him to get it approved. He wants to give me a migraine blocker. I’ve explained every time that these are too extensive. Even with insurance they’re $850-$1000. So he asked why. Does he not know about insurance formularies or does he think I can afford it?

Unprofessional and unconcerned with patient care
This physician is one the worst I've encountered for patient care and concern. I had to ask questions to get him to explain what he was doing. I told him I was in so much pain. He wasn't concerned about it. He told me to get my MRI scheduled and that he see me in three months. I guess his pay for the office visit was all he needed from me. Well he will get paid, but I do not want to step one foot in his office again. Compassion, concern, and caring about what a patient needs are not his strong points. I'm better off without him, and his lack in excellence in service.

Roger
Guru Motgi, M.D is not a very good doctor he is never willing to listen to any of my concerns as a patient, he does not treat you as an individual instead the whole visit feels like you are on an assembly line which just ends you being prescribed more medication and a new bill. I do not recommend this guy.

Unprofessional
Dr. Motgi and his staff are unprofessional and the doctor does not listen or care about his patients based on my aunt's experience. They also refuse to see my aunt for a follow up appointment to get results on testing he requested because they found out she was in an assisted living facility. He won't see patients that require a caregiver or assistant to join them for visits. I can't recommend them to anyone.

Today , I had my first visit with Dr. Mogti today. I came in a wheelchair and he asked me about why I was using a wheelchair ( which is a rude question to ask anyone - even if asked by a neurologist). He seemed not to really want to listen when I was trying to explain the findings of my ER visit I had previously. That isn’t right. And he automatically wanted to assume what I was experiencing was psychogenic . Having psychogenic conditions is terrible and something that no one should want to automatically diagnose anyone with because there are no ways to directly treat those conditions and a misdiagnosis of these conditions can allow other diseases to go untreated. I get sick of being referred to neurologists like Dr. Mogti who do not care about their patients concerns at all and write them off after a previous mental health diagnosis and grill patients who come to their office in wheelchairs. It’s not right and should not be a standard practice in neurology.

My mom visited this doctor and I have to say it seems to be one of the worst experiences she has ever had. His recommendations to treat her pain was less than ridiculous. If you care about your family member go somewhere else.
