Dr. Greg Griewe, MD

To be such a busy man whose day may begin bright and early with surgery to the last patient he will see late in the afternoon, Dr. Griewe and his staff have some very long days! I dealt with 2 kidney stones that could not make it out on their on, and Dr. Griewe was extremely professional in sharing x rays, and what the options could be. His staff is very welcoming, and when you have a patient filled day, there is no doubt they can get behind in seeing the next patient. I waited for my appointment over two hours on one visit, and his staff apologized, and shared when he was getting closer to seeing me, When he comes into the room, he is glad to see you as he generates the conversation asking you what's going on with you right now. He is diligent in checking your chart, shows you the xrays, and explains what you are seeing, and this is what your options are. He answers all questions and what will happen after surgery. If our paths must cross again, Dr. Griewe will be THE MAN!

This guy killed my wife's uterer and destroyed it by placing a stent in it that was way too large for her anatomy. Stent broke in two when it needed to be replaced, hence my wife now has a nephroscomy tube and urine bag. Having to travel out of state to see if it can be repaired. $$$$ Arrogant and doesn't like female patients.

I have had nothing but an excellent experience during my visits and procedures with the staff and Dr. Griewe. He and his staff have answered all of my questions and been very helpful whenever I had an issue. He explained my condition and drew a diagram of the anatomy and what he planned during my procedures. He seemed very busy and was booked up for a couple of months of surgery but told the nurse to schedule me in on a Saturday because it needed to be done. He was not aware that I heard this. Thankful for his care and follow up.

Always get a second opinion and get it from Dr. Griewe. I did and couldn't be happier with my care and surgery performed by him and his team. It boils down to me possibly being around for my Great grandchildren.

Had to wait three hours past my appointment time each time i went. Treated me with disrespect. Staff was rude.

multiple visits _ all horrible -arrogant and uncaring and will not even give him the courtesy of the title of md wish there were a lower raitng than one star why is this horrible person still practicing?

He is a good doctor but if you need prescriptions refilled and prior authorization for said prescriptions, his personal secretary Kristen is HORRIBLE to try and work with! She is very rude and matter of fact in such a way that you can’t even believe she keeps her job. Apparently she doesn’t want the hassle of dealing with insurance companies so she puts them off and you have to beg and plead to get your prescription. Took me 3 months to get a prescription I have taken for years.

Dr Griewe was fabulous ! I was told prior to seeing him, by my PCP, not to expect much of a bedside manner, but to expect top notch care. I got the best of both! He listened when I was answering his questions and didn't try to finish my sentences to rush me out . He explained what happened, how he was going to fix it and worked fast to get it scheduled so I wouldn't miss a planned trip . EVERYONE told me how much they loved working with him, how professional , skilled and kind he is !

Was not helpful at all. Did not seem to care about his patients or diagnose problem. He stated it might be this or it might be that. He is simply guessing at his job. Would not recommend him to anyone

Dr. Griewe has an outstanding level of experience and shows great compassion that when I've been waking up post up I'll offer find him at my bedside writing charts when most often with other doctors I won't even see them till my recheck and I wake up in recovery alone until the nurses see that I've woken. Also a great surgeon and if he's on call and I neeeded surgery he'd end up doing it that very night. I wish I could have brought him with me out of state when I moved! Haven't found that again.

Absolutely horrible doctor who will challenge your ability to have faith in humanity and the medical field. I think a witch doctor would be a better physician.
