Dr. Gordon Tussing, DO

Have been going to Dr. Tussing for about 7 years now and have had nothing but exceptional service. Had some serious health concerns that we had to figure out, and he was always on the ball for me. Very quick to answer questions in the portal. Great staff. Love this practice!

Never missed an appointment. Cancelled annual December preventative visit a week in advance. But because I did not call back to reschedule by the date they wanted me to reschedule by, i was discharged as a patient. That shows a lack of concern for patients. Clearly you are just a number to this office, not a person or patient.

Dr. Tussing always clarifies what I can do to achieve the best possible health.

Doesn’t seem to care much for his patients. Doesn’t call to check on patients that he knows is sick since he gets the covid results. His staff is VERY rude! Just not a man that has your best interests at heart.

I was a patient for 17 years. Over the years, Dr. Tussing has been increasingly more focused on questionnaires and less and less on listening to his patients. He tries to micromanage everything about patient care, even over riding another doctor’s order. He no longer listened to my concerns and was condescending. His office staff are very rude. We have had enough and are going to another doctor. If I could give a zero rating I would.

I love Dr. Tussing. He never gave up on finding me the safe pain management I needed without leaving me unable to enjoy life. I never feel stupid or judged when I see him.

SUPER confused by the negative reviews. Dr. Tussing is an excellent physician. He truly LISTENS to his patients. He has always treated me with incredible kindness and respect. When I go to Dr. Tussing with a medical problem - no matter how small - he helps me through the problem. My only wish is that I started seeing him sooner. I went through a lot of doctors who blew me off and wouldn't listen to me. Dr. Tussing listens to me. I trust him with my health, and listen to what he has to say. I can confidently say I have never been in better hands.

I highly recommend Dr. Tussing to anyone looking for a new, or better DO! Dr. Tussing is a great listener, and provides feedback and encouragement when I bring up my own health-related research and ask about alternative forms of healing, including dietary changes and exploring (and addressing) the possible root cause, instead of accepting fatigue, upset/sensitive stomach, and skin issues as a fact of life. He is easy to communicate with and promptly replies to Patient Portal messages on the same day.

Rude and a bully. Makes appointment, then sends referral to another doctor without your knowledge or permission. It’s his way or the highway.

Excellent. He is very thorough, knowledgable, listens to yr medical issues n asks questions for clarification. Very knowledgable about meds as well. Unlike some drs, he has no ego problems, is very caring n always available in the event of an emergency. I've been a patient for at least 10 years n he n his staff r the best. I would hate to think of having to go to another dr if he retired or something happened to him.

treats you like you are stupid..talks down to you...no hands on exam..doesnt listen to your heart or lungs....rushed through your visit after a long wait in the waiting room... not friendly...

I have been a patient for 12 years. He helped me when I was diagnosed with cancer. He gave me sound advice about treatment options, and has always been there to answer my questions.

I would never recommend Dr. Tussing to family and friends. Rude office staff. Dr Tussing does not listen to his patients wishes. He has a very robotic approach to patient care.

Dr.Tussing is focused on his patient, taking the necessary time to know me as total person, not a checklist or set of symptoms. He takes a very holistic approach to care, works to keep me healthy versus treating me after I'm sick, and is NEVER late.

Very efficient office, doctor is professional, easy going, explains everything clearly and answers questions patiently.
