Gave Me My Life Back
After a very traumatic final few weeks of pregnancy, and an emergent c-section, I felt wrong. My body didn’t feel like my own and I was in near constant pain every day. Turns out, the trauma from my pregnancy/birth caused psoriatic arthritis to flare up and overtake my body. Dr. Ignat listened to me, quelled my concerns, and helped me find out what was wrong with me. He continued to work with me to find the best treatment options, and cares about my well-being. He’s kind, compassionate, and takes time to joke with you so you don’t feel so awful. His staff are always nice and helpful. I’ve never had such a good experience with a doctor like I have with him.

Dr. Ignat may have saved my life in 2019.
I would recommend Dr. Ignat to anybody. When I found myself in terrific pain, daily fevers, and strange swellings, I asked 3 other doctors to refer me to somebody who could find out what was wrong, they only shrugged, one said it was my RA, also said I didn't look sick, the other 2 said they didn't know anybody to refer. Lucky for me, Dr. Ignat had visited me in the hospital almost 2 years earlier and I found his card in my medical files. I decided in desperation to go ask him if he could find out what was wrong with me. He ran many tests and made the diagnosis of Lupus. We both agreed that, without the help, it would not have ended well for me. I waited the 2 weeks, what's 2 weeks when you have been suffering for 2 years? I noticed fthe blood was sent to various places, some very far away. That takes time if you need those specialized tests, they surely do not do those quickly in a nearby general lab.That is my answer to a reviewer who rated him so poorly because of the wait.

Avoid him in order to spare oneself several wasteful and expensive appointments. Thinks blood results have to take over two weeks. No they do not doctor.

Dr Ignat was amazing. He is very caring, listens to everything you say, explains the facts in a no-nonsense yet sensitive way, and validates your pain and frustration. He genuinely wants to help his patients feel better. I would recommend him to all of my family and friends.

He took 3 tubes of fluid from my knee with virtually no pain. He ordered blood tests when I was in the hospital but, I was discharged before the results. I was treated for cellulitis in the ER and at the hospital then the diagnosis was changed to gout. I continued to be in pain and I was able to contact Dr Ignat's office on Friday and his office staff was very caring and considerate. I received a corticosteroid rx and a Monday appointment. He then correctly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis. .
