Dr. George McAnelly, MD

One of most knowledgeable and caring doctor ever I met. He is the most dependable doctor for any kids. We started seeing him for son from 2017 to present. I never seen any extra ordinary caring doctor like him. We just moved in a different city. Still trying to work with him. I strongly recommend him.

The lady in the front office is EXTREMELY rude! I called in this morning to schedule an appointment for my child. She called back advising that Dr. Mac had to be her PCP before getting seen. Not a problem right?! I called in to my insurance AND logged in on the website to update her PCP to him. The representative also backdated it for yesterday’s date to ensure she could be seen today. It’s literally an emergency for her to be seen. I called back into the office and advised her of the change. She went to the provider portal and didn’t see the update. I assured her it was. Even asked if she would call. Instead of her trying to assist in a professional manner. She hung up in my face. I called back FIFTEEN times to ensure she would be seen and she’s PURPOSELY sending me to the voicemail ignoring my call. Very UNPROFESSIONAL and I will be contacting BBB to follow up because this is ridiculous especially considering this doctor office specializes in PEDIATRICS!!!!

Dr Mac was my son's pediatrician for 5 years until we left the USA and therefore could not continue with him. Dr Mac was the best! My son is now 18. We appreciate his great care for our son.

Dr. Mac saved us this year when we needed to switch pediatricians quickly. I had no idea what I was missing out on with our last pediatrician. Dr. Mac's bedside manner is amazing. He made both boys feel comfortable and respected. He listened to me and truly showed he was invested in helping our family. I can't praise him enough! If you aren't happy with your current pediatrician, there's no reason to stick around when there's an incredible pediatrician just as close!

Dr. Mc Anelly's front office staff Laura was rude, disrespectful, and lacking in empathy. She cancelled our apt without telling us (after we drove two hours for the visit), and still refused to schedule an apt for our 1-year old, even after having two Tricare reps assure me and her of the referral and that we could see the Dr. I can't speak for Mc Anelly's services, but anyone who employs someone of such poor character doesn't deserve your business.

His receptionist is unbelievably rude and unhelpful. She behaved in a totally unprofessional manner multiple times and refused to help us and help my daughter be seen. I can not believe that he would employ someone who is such a sour person as the face of his practice.

We have brought our 3 kids to Dr. McAnelly for about 18 years. He has been an amazing doctor to all three kids and they all three have always loved him. He really listens to what my kids and I have to say before diagnosing them with anything. He also goes above and beyond to get my kids feeling well. DEFINITELY recommend him to everyone. We have moved twice since we started going to him and drive 45 minutes just to have my kids still go to him.

Dr. Mac is friendly and attentive. My children feel extremely at ease with him, as do we. The only downsides are that he doesn't have Saturday office hours, and that his front desk staffer is very short with us; rude sometimes.
