Horrible bedside manner. He dismissed my concerns. During a painful procedure, he dismissed my pain and told me it wasn't that bad. He did not listen to me. He left without giving me any advice on pain management or what to expect after the procedure. I will not be returning.

Professional,Attentive,& Personable

It's been 15 years since Dr. Kostinger first operated on me. I have had two other procedures with him in that time. Each experience and result was very positive and successful. He does excellent work, is very concerned about his patients, and keeps an upbeat attitude. The TPMG staff and hospital personnel for these procedures are all very skilled and friendly. If I should have to have another hospital procedure, I will be comfortable and confident that Dr. Kostiner and the hospital staff will do very well by me and that I (we) will have a very positive outcome. Since my BPH symptoms had not responded to medication prescribed by 3 previous Urologists, Dr. Kostiner quickly determined why the previous medication treatments didn't work and prescribed the REZUM minimally invasive procedure. Recovery was less painful and quicker than predicted with significant improvement in a few weeks. Continuing improvement is predicted for 3 months after the procedure. My biggest fear had been more trips to the ER for a catheter after 2 urine retention emergencies. This procedure has changed my life as i no longer fear the urine retention emergency. I have developed complete confidence in Dr. Kostiner's skills having seen several other Urologists. He is probably the most experienced doctor in this area for the REZUM procedure. He was straightforward and didn't try to "sell" me on a treatment - just a "here are the facts" approach. And besides, he is a nice guy and very likable. It is hard to beat his combination of great skills and great personality.

Doctor Kostner he is a very great doctor, he care about his patients, I recommend to see him if you need to. Very patient and professional.

My prostate was becoming so enlarged it became difficult and painful to urinate. Medications were not working. Finally I had to go to the ER at the hospital to have a catheter inserted. OH WHAT FUN! After consulting my options with Dr. Kostiner we agreed the best option would be laser surgery. I was very apprehensive and questioned if this procedure would help me. The surgery went better than expected and did not even require hospitalization. WOW! What a difference. I was immediately able to urinate pain free without complications. Thanks a million, Doctor K.

Does not spend enough time with patients, no post visit patient involvement. Does not seem to care.

Dr. Kostiner is superb,knowledgeable, and has a great attitude for the health of his patients. He has a good sense of humor.

I was apprehensive about seeing a urologist about my low testosterone, but Dr. Kostiner made me feel comfortable and has helped me greatly. I feel like a different person since my first visit; and that’s thanks to him listening to me and not solely judging my numbers.

I had a biopsy and thank goodness it was negative. Dr. K did a great job of filling me in. I find the doctor easy to talk to and has a great bedside manner.

A real professional. Not much you can say when you have the real deal

This review is long overdue. My husband recently had his 2nd surgery for kidney stone removal. Dr. Kostiner is simply the best. He scheduled the surgery very quickly during this pandemic. He is so caring. He answered all our questions and fully explains each procedure. The staff is wonderful. We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kostiner!!!

Because of the ongoing coronavirus crisis, my last appointment -- mostly a follow-up -- was accomplished via a teleconference which was totally satisfactory.
