One of the best PCP I ever encountered.
Dr. Loughrey is one of the best primary physicians I ever encountered and here are the reasons why. 1. He let you finish your words/ concerns without interrupting. Yes, you may think this is a dumb common but if you ever talked to multiple Drs. in your life, you will find most of them interrupt when you talk. One thing I like about Dr. Loughrey is that he actually listens and lets you finish before he talks. 2. He answers messages with the patient portal quickly. I had to get a hold of him a few times for various health reasons. He replied mostly within 24-48 hours during business hours. Don't call the front desk tho, it's faster with the portal. 3. He does not rush you. Yes, all Drs have a limited time with each patient between 15-30 minutes (that's how clinics keep their flow). However, I have never had him rush me if I have to go over a bit. By the same token, I don't complain when I have to wait because his last patient may be complicated and he has to give them more time.

This doctor was pretty pleasant and seemed to care. He couldn't diagnose me but he did order some testing and tried to move my case along.

Don't be fooled by Dr Loughrey's quiet and kind demeanor. He has his own agenda and ideals. He doesn't tolerate rebuttals to his personal idea of ethics.
