Excellent Surgery
I am forever grateful for Dr. Smith. He listened to my symptoms and escalated my surgery and saved my life by removing the tumor in my spine just in time. I was having a very hard time walking and he relieved my nerve compression and I'm recovering well. I trusted him completely and he is the very best--knowledgeable, professional, a medical artist and the very best!

Not able to stand or walk far.
Dr. Smith was very thorough, checked all areas so he knew what we were dealing with. Gave us all the options. Explained everything in full. Told us that he will not be able to run a marathon but, will be able to get around better then what he could now. Surgery was 4/25/23 so each day gets a little better. Dr Smith also did surgery on my mom. Which if it wasn’t for him my mom would not be doing as well as what she is doing now. Thank you!!!! He is very good at what he does.

Cervical disk herniation
Dr. Smith was very direct with me, which I appreciated. He thoroughly explained the surgical procedure along with the risks involved. His nurse practitioner Mary Lesko was very helpful during office visits before and after surgery. I am very grateful to the surgical team.

Yes I would recommend Dr Smith.
My first visit with Dr Smith was very nice. He explained and showed me my stenosis and neck dislocations. He showed me what and how he would operate on my discs.

Spine surgery was results was excellent.
Everyone that helped me with the spine process was very helpful. Sara Brodeur and Julie Grimm both RN's they helped navigate me through every process of my back surgery. Dr. Smith was very explaining ever aspect of my back surgery, before and after. I couldn't have ask for such personable individuals in my life. All three of them were totally awesome.

Miracle Worker
Dr. Smith carefully evaluated my case and developed a well thought-out surgical solution. I received prompt preparatory attention and went into surgery on January 3rd. Although it has only been 3 weeks, I feel like a new man. I had significant pain after two previous back surgeries (performed by a different surgeon) prior to meeting with Dr. Smith and his team. As I write this review, I am pain free. Well done Dr. Smith!

I am amazed by the results already.
I am 3 weeks post op surgery. I had a fusion and another procedure done. I am in less pain than I was before my surgery. I feel like I have my life back without all the pain. I had surgery 9yrs ago with a different Doctor to trim two herniated discs. I could barely move after 6 weeks without being in pain. Dr. Smith really did give me my life back.

Better than I hoped for
Lower lumbar fusions 20 years ago left me with pain, which was managed; but more degeneration above that level -plus development of scoliosis- left me more and more disabled. Surgery was technically very challenging, which I clearly understood. I hoped to arrest the deterioration, but at 3 weeks postop I already feel MUCH better than preop. It's wonderful to stand straight again! My Christmas miracle . Dr. Smith and team are amazing.

22 Days Post Op
I am only 22 days post op I had to have a posterior cervical laminectomy and fusion. This was my 2nd neck surgery. So I have had my neck worked on in the front and now the back. When I talked to Dr. Smith prior to my surgery I found him to be very knowledgeable and understanding. He walked me through the different plans that were available to me. Dr. Smith told me the pros and cons of each procedure and we talked about which ones would be best for me and I got to make the decision. After surgery I was in pain but it was under control. He gave me my release papers which included what we had already gone over letting me know what I could and could not do. I am very glad to have Dr. Smith. He did a wonderful job and is a wonderful Doctor. Would definitely recommend him to any and everyone.

I would and already have recommended Dr. Smith to family and friends. Dr. Smith, his physician assistant Ryan Milks and all of his staff have been wonderful. Everything concerning my surgery and now recovery was explained beautifully. I know that if I'd call today with a problem or concern, they'd get back to me in a very timely manner.

Dr. Smith is very businesslike. He comes prepared with answers and makes sure you understand. He takes the time needed to explain. To me he is very professional in ways to build the patient’s confidence. On surgery day, he visited with me in pre-op room to go over procedures and questions. When my daughter, a nurse, came to pre-op to visit me, she told attending nurse she had a couple questions of Dr. Smith. Nurse told Dr. Smith of my daughter and he returned to answer her questions. I was very impressed. To me this exemplified his concern for his patient.
