Dr. Frederick Bunge, MD

Dr. Bunge is great! It's really hard to find a doctor like him in the Knoxville Oak Ridge area. He is a person with lots of wisdom, which makes him unique. He always listens and explains the possible remedies in layman's language. Thank you, Dr. Bunge for everything.

I saw Dr. Bunge for an unproductive cough. His staff was very nice, and I was very pleased with him as my doctor. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend him.

The office staff were short and unfriendly. Office atmosphere stressful. I had to wait an hour and 45 min before I was called back to a room. Dr. Bunge was pleasant and apologetic. He explained my condition well. Very disappointed with the wait and the office staff.

Dr. Bunge is great! I had severe sleep apnea and he performed the Air Lift procedure and it is wonderful. I no longer have sleep apnea. He is very caring and concerned with my health. He did a thorough exam and explained everything before the surgery. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Bunge is a good doctor. However, you are required to fill out pages of information (new or it's been a while) which apparently is not read at the time of the visit. He also is quick, so if you are slower, he will be gone before you ask a question.

Dr Bunge was extremely rude and demeaning. I would NEVER recommend him to any person that I care about, nor a dog. I would travel across the country to another provider rather than see him again.

If you’ve been looking for an ENT specialist who will treat you as if you are a part of their family, and not just as another number, Dr Bunge is the doctor to go to. After several visits with other specialists who were FAR from competent, Dr Bunge helped me breathe again and changed my life in the process. His passion and care for his patients is like none other and your health and well-being is his #1 priority. The staff at the Oakridge office and the nurses that took care of me pre, during, and post surgery at the Corbin Outpatient clinic were so caring and helpful. Thank you so much, Dr Bunge. If I could give you a thousand stars, I would.

My review isn't one that just reflects what I think of Dr. Bunge, but also the entire office at East TN Ear, Nose and Throat of Oak Ridge, TN. I do not consider Dr. Bunge my doctor, he is my friend, and someone I have the highest respect for. Not only is he caring about my needs he is someone I know would do all he could to help me whatever need I was needing at the time. He is someone who lives his life by compassion and giving attitude, and I was never seeing anyone else but him for my ENT needs. I fear the day he retires, but then I will just need to find where he lives and go there. :) Also, the office staff are ones that I enjoy seeing each time I go to the Oak Ridge office. I consider them friends and I love taking them a box of donuts to brighten their day. I've not had any interactions with the other physicians in the office, but if they carry themselves to the same level of care and compassion that Dr. Bunge has then patients will be very lucky having them for a physician

My experience was very good. I had an issue with one of my ears for a couple of months. Dr. Binge was so caring & very professional. I love his philosophy of care. He says it is his honor for his patients to trust him with their care. That he cares for us as a family member. Well after my appointment today he did indeed make me feel as I were his family member. Thank you Dr. Bunge.

I waited in the room for over an hour to see the doctor. He sat in his office on a personal phone call (his office was adjacent to the room I was in). When he did finally come into the room, he didn't apologize for making me wait over an hour. And when he did finally come in to see me, he stayed for literally ONE MINUTE before telling me goodbye. It was a total waste and I do not think I'll go back.
