Dr. Franklin Morgan, MD

Dr. Morgan was amazing! I just moved to VA this summer and I started seeing him when I was 8 months pregnant. It took us over 1 hour to see him and we were calling everywhere to find a obgyn clinic that was closer to us but we didn’t have a luck. We had so many clinics that said they would not accept new patient that was already in late pregnancy so we were giving up. When he found out that we drove 1 hour to see him every time, he quickly found a closest clinic for us and recommended us to them. Although the clinic he referred to said no to us at first when we called, Dr.Morgan explained our situation and had them accept me as a new patient. We would not have been accepted if we didn’t have him. I only had few visits with him but I would say that he is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever met. If we didn’t have to concern about the traffic in case of an emergency etc, I would have kept seeing him! Me, my husband and our baby appreciate all he has done for us.

Dr. Morgan delivered my first child almost 33 years ago. He was horrible. He grabbed me by the shoulders and said if I didn't stay awake and push, he would leave and come back at 3am (it was about 11pm). He ripped a 9 lb first baby from me with vacuum suction (which apparently he used a lot, because when I mentioned it to a nurse at a follow up visit, she said "oh, you must have had Dr. Morgan). I was never the same. I had a feeling he was wanting to watch Tyson's first major fight, so after the delivery, I said to my husband "oh, it's a shame you missed the fight" and Dr. Morgan said "Tyson won".

I’ve been seeing Dr Morgan for 6 years, and have been tremendously pleased with his level of expertise, gentleness, and overall bedside manner. He always takes time to sit down and visit, obviously concerned about the whole picture versus just the OB/GYN side of things. I usually have to wait a bit before being called back, but he takes as much time with me as needed. aYou won’t go wrong seeing Dr Morgan. Side note: his nurse is the sweetest ever! You’ll never feel dumb asking questions!

Dr. Morgan is by far the best doctor I've ever found. He always listens to my concerns and addresses everything. He doesn't rush during the appointment and runs on time. I've gone to him for 15 years and he delivered my daughter in 2015. I highly recommend him.

I've had a really good experience w/ Dr. Morgan. I was a transferred to him early in my 3rd trimester and he was quickly caught up on my case. The longest I've had to wait to be seen was 15 min. (vs. 2 hours sometimes at previous Dr.). He's good at addressing any concerns and I really appreciate his sense of humor. He's no-nonsense, but I also appreciate that he views both mine and his time as valuable.

Has been my doctor over 30 years. Brought my son into the world. He is the best and I don't say that about most doctors I meet.
