Extremely happy
As always Dr. Akhrass was extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough. A few times I have asked questions after examination and he always stops and gives me his full attention. If I didn't know better, I would think I was his only patient. His kindness is so valued. He's one of 3 drs out of many that i see that truly went into a profession they were called to be in. I would highly recommend him.

Frequent Cancellations !
I have been a patient of Dr. Akhrass for about 3 years now and have been very happy with his treatment plan. But recently he has cancelled two of my appointments and it has been a year since I have seen him, whereas he requires a consultation every three months. This shows a lack of concern about his patients. He is a great doctor, but does not care about the patients. I have also an issue with the medication and that has not been resolved in the last two months. I am somewhat disappointed.

From my very first phone call, after being referred by my pharmacist, the DGD has been the answer to my prayers! Dr. Akhrass and everyone at the clinic have been the best to help me in controlling my diabetes. I have had diabetes for many years and have never had the help, care and concern for my condition as I found here. This clinic runs so smoothly and they cover aspect of my needs and they are so kind and patient. I feel that finally I have a place that will take care of me and is there to meet all my needs.

I have been a patient of Dr.Akhrass for 15 years. I have been very pleased with his care. He is a very passionate doctor who really cares for his patients complete well being. When my insurance refused to cover one of the medicines, he gave me samples until the insurance finally covered medication. I am very grateful for his concern and understanding.

Dr akhrass is great but getting prescriptions or actually talking to a live person is impossible. I would not tecommend this dr office to anyone. Please go somewhere else where you can talk to a person or get medications when you need them. In summary dr great but office personnel and procedures are terrible!!

Dr. Akhrass is an extremely informed doctor. He explains things to me and listens to any concerns I may have. His office staff are professional and courteous. His N.P., Tina is awesome. I love that they have a lab onsite, bone scan equipment and ultrasound. I would highly recommend him.

This was my first visit with this man and it will be my last. I have a long history with no thyroid gland and I really just wanted someone to listen to my symptoms, run the right bloodwork and find the right combinations of medicine to keep me symptom free. He never asked me how I'm feeling, questioned my use of natural thyroid medicine rather than the synthetic Synthroid, briefly glanced at my lab results and declared I was on too much medicine. Arrogant, poor bedside manner....

I have been diagnosed as diabetic since I was about 30 and I am now 76. I first heard of Dr. Akhrass from a diabetic friend I saw loosing weight. I lost from 292# down to 250# because of medications he put me on. Now I'm at 240#. The clinic he is in is run like an assembly line. Blood samples next. Then vitals and your seated in one of his 2 exam rooms. Soon he comes in. Very personable and smiling. Always explains what he is doing. I'm glad I'm his patient.

Please note Dr. Akhrass and his Diabetes team has been instrumental in lower my A1C . 11.9 to 6 in less than 90 days. His Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Joseph Tiscani took the lead with my monthly visit to assure my success. Keep the good work up guys I could not have done without you all.
