Dr. Felix Mpuku, MD

I found Dr. Mpuku engaging as a person and professional as a health care provider. He explained the treatment plan and showed concern for any pain or discomfort I was in.

After my second pregnancy I had a severe umbilical hernia as well as diastasis recti. I went to see Dr. Mpuku because I was told he could help me. I had taken ultrasounds prior to the visit and took the findings to my appointment. He took one look at the Report and turned me away. "Your Insurance won't cover it, I can't help you." He said. Except I knew that he could! The surgery for the umbilical hernia was covered because I had previously asked the insurance company and my Obstetrician. It didn't matter to him. He wouldn't let me speak and every time I tried, he treated me as if I had no idea what I was talking about and insisted I was wrong and he could not help me. He rushed me out the door. I stood in the hallway with my mouth hanging in disbelief as he closed the door behind me. Six months later, I met my new PCP I told her my story and she was frozen in disbelief, she immediately found someone to help me and viola, Hernia gone. Find another Surgeon this one stinks.

Terrible service. Terrible doctor . His staff are very unhelpful and rude. Had to escalate it due to a bad service . Won't recommend this doctor and staff to anyone.
