Dr. Fatima Dalwai, MD

I am a 3 year breast cancer survivor. I moved to Newnan, GA from Chicagoland area 2 years ago. To preface, my doctors in Chicago were AMAZING. Every concern, issue, question, etc was heard and addressed - especially understanding my background of cancer. I chose Dr. Dalwai here in Newnan as my primary physician and have been less than pleased. She does not listen to concerns - just top level questions/response- not compassionate. I've been dealing w/illness lately that's really starting to alter my life. She did lab work, and found some categories out of margin (which are in line w/symptoms I've been having) yet no one called to discuss w/me - it wasn't until I asked and was told, "everything is normal". I FEEL SO DISMISSED. Do not recommend this doctor.

This is for 76 year old vibrate, healthy, living alone, driving mom who is deceased now. She went to this person for years complaining for stomach pains. Only thing this person did was give her some type of stomach pills. Finally she told her to get a colonoscopy. Mom did the stool sample of course this person said it was something there and said she needed the colonoscopy. Mama didn't want to do it, but she did. After all the trauma suffered by mama from the person who did the colonoscopy ( I. Adamu) I read that people in their 70s shouldn't get a colonoscopy because their lining is really thin. Now my mom is DEAD and no one cares.

I don't know much about Dr. Dalwai because the office does not return calls, I was referred and the message says they check their messages regularly but I've called and left messages and no call back and yesterday I sat and listened to the person that referred me call and shortly after they got a return call. On both messages I asked were they excepting new patients and that a yes or no question. I guess I got my answer!
