Dr. Fakhri Kalolwala, MD

I had just changed my insurance plan and needed to find a new doctor before my prescriptions ran out. Most of us don't look forward to going to the doctor, and I especially dreaded the processing of finding someone new, but I was in for a very pleasant surprise. Everything about this doctor's visit was top notch. I was thrilled to have an easy time getting an appointment, and even happier to be taken to an exam room promptly after my arrival. Dr. Kalolwala was thoroughly present during the appointment. He listened to my health issues and concerns, and I had the sense that he was partnering with me in my health care, which is extremely important to me. I would recommend him without reservations.

Dr. K was the floor Dr. at Houston Methodist West after my emergency surgery. I left my primary care Dr. of 20+YEARS to make him my PCP because of how he treated me in the hospital. He listens & explains thing so you understand. It’s GREAT to have someone listen without interrupting & have a plan.

He was the Admission doctor at Methodist West for my wife’s recent bout with Pancreatitis. He saw her every morning, laid out the days plan, answered our questions & took time to educate us on the nature of all aspects of the disease. He appreciates the whole person as a patient and genuinely listens to us. He was great!
