Primary Physician for over a decade
Dr. Nguyen has been our primary doctor for over a decade. She takes the time to listen to me as a patient then discusses my treatment plan and options. I appreciate that I am seen in a timely manner and my concerns are addressed. For diagnostic procedures outside her practice I have been given lists of physicians to follow up with and have been very satisfied with them as well.

Horrible medical practice
My experience was horrible! I only saw Dr Nguyen once, but had been to this location three times. On my last visit, I questioned whether there was any way to get my records imported into the Houston Methodist system and was told there wasn’t. I expressed disappointment because I had found Dr Nguyen through Houston Methodist. When I next tried to schedule an appointment, I was told my relationship with the doctor had been terminated because I had said I was going to find another doctor. I never said that!! I never even thought that! I was furious and wouldn’t go back if they paid me!!

Does not provide care
I went to her as a new patient for annual physicals. I have a family history of serious cardiac issues, stroke, and cancer. All of which I mentioned in the paperwork I completed online. She never bothered to read or ask me about any of that! I had a blood vessel burst in my eye, which is clearly visible. She NEVER saw that!!! I mentioned a swollen lymph node. Only then she checked it. No ears mouth nose check, no reflexes check. No breast palpitation. I asked for a Blood enzyme test for cardiac issue and I am sent to an outside lab despite labcorp being onsite. All of which is done in all other physicals I went to and I am over 50 years. Just a labcorp order and I am out of the door! This doctor is not interested in care. I cannot understand how she can write tests without knowing more about me and factors impacting my health?!!

Rude & Unprofessional Dr
Although Dr. Janette listed in her provider’s profile Vietnamese as a provided language at her office, which her staff also confirmed, she couldn’t converse with my mom on a medical standpoint. This wasn’t a big issue because I was there to translate if needed. The issue we have with Dr. Janette is she said for future visits, she didn’t want me to translate on big important matters to my mother during the consultation. She told me to translate to my mother after we’ve left her office. It was very unprofessional and rude of her to set this term for future visits. As a patient, it’s my mother’s right to know everything going on no matter how small or big the topic is. My mother should also be informed while she’s in office, not after she’s left. Another issue is a staff comes in, and she abruptly leaves without apologizing or excusing herself while we were in the middle of talking to her. She really lacks the compassion, professionalism, and good manners that a good doctor should embody.

I had a appointment to be established as a new patient at this office, as soon as I walked in I noticed a very small waiting area. I’m a high risk patient it was impossible to sit there in the waiting area with no six apart from others. There was four to five staff behind a glass window mine you everyone could not keep the six feet behind that very small work place, then I noticed while waiting to be checked in several of them had on facial mask that move up and down. The nurse told me I have to have a EKG, it wasn’t time for my blood to be drawn again. I just had it done two weeks prior to my appointment.I voiced no complaints of chest pain and she stated the EKG was part of the physical in which I knew it was a lie. This office was set up with the EKG machine there. I told her no I don’t have any chest pain what are you doing?.She stated oh don’t worry it’s covered under your insurance missing the whole point. I was told by another patient to be careful they’ll milk your insurance.

My letter to Nguyen: I was there yesterday and now have concerns about the treatment that I received. Never in my life have I been sent away from a doctor's office while in pain with no regard, suggestion or anecdote as to how to deal with the pain. You didn't even examine me for pain. When I came back in crying from the pain, you then offered ambulatory service and told me to go to the ER. ALL WITHOUT ELIMINATING OTHER POSSIBILITIES OR EXAMINING ME! I left there and went down the street to the urgent care I was told that we would try a few things and if those things failed and the pain persisted, then I would need to go to the ER. NextLevel took care of me and now I feel better. I ended up not having to go to the ER. I did leave a message with your office, she seemed pretty apathetic as well. You putting your hand in my face when I was informing you of the conversation I had with the intake nurse, was unprofessional and rude, to say the least.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Nguyen. I left my last doctor as she never really listened and would just add another pill to my growing list without explanation. Dr. Nguyen knew immediately what was happening and has been extremely thorough in her diagnosis, Her PA is extremely knowledgeable, explains in laymen's terms what is happening and wants to help rule things out to give me better piece of mind, Their staff is completely competent, quick and friendly. I have found my forever doctor.

Dr. Nguyen has been my families Dr for 12 years. She is extremely patient and very thorough in her examination. We have entrusted her with the care of our entire family. We have three girls and dr Nguyen helped us care for them into there adult life. Dr Nguyen is afraid to make the tough decision when it's in the best interest of her patient. When my father in law came to live with us, Dr Nguyen was our Dr of choice for him. We are grateful to have her as our healthcare provider.

Front staff is unprofessional (unfriendly, difficult to understand, seemed annoyed to answer phone). The office is cluttered and does not inspire confidence in care. Dr. Nguyen is condescending and passively rude. Referrals are literally find your own specialist who takes your insurance, then call us.
