Don't Go Here! If I could give zero stars I would
I had seen DR. Onat several years ago based on a recommendation. I was pleased with her low-key approach to wellness. When I returned a few years later I was shocked by her dismissal of my concerns, prescribing medication incorrectly based on her personal opinion (which made me ill) rather than investigating my symptoms further, lack of compassion and ignoring my request for a referral to a specialist. Nobody answers the phone and you have to leave a message to try to make an appointment. My experience spanned a few weeks so there's no chalking it up to a bad day. The experience was appalling.

If I tell you what is wrong and all you do is look at bloodwork numbers, you are not listening. I could get the same info online and save myself money. Waste of time.

Dr. Onat is a good provider and incorporates holistic health. Her wait times are atrocious (1-2 hours). Her staff are rude and condescending with a failure to communicate. If you have a lot of time to wait, she's good. If you don't need timely prescription refills or answers when you call the office, then this is the practice for you! The 2 star rating is the average of 4 stars for Dr. Onat and 0 stars for the office staff.

Dr Onat is smart, kind, caring, thoughtful, always up to date on current practices, and blends conventional medicine practice with an open-mindedness for alternative treatments that work. I have been going to her for more than ten years, and am grateful to have found her after many years of chronic illness at the hands of many incompetent doctors.

If you're looking for a doctor to listen to you and take your symptoms seriously, to care about you and your health... you have come to the WRONG place. I was told I wouldn't be called for a followup visit unless something was wrong. They called, had me come in, and then told me everything looks fine. When I told Dr. Onat I was sick and begged for followup bloodwork, she said sure if I could provide an explanation for the tests I wanted. I did, and her office refused to acknowledge me. I called every day for weeks and kept being told "she'll call you back later today" and never did. Now I'm being billed and have to pay this office $100 for calling me in to tell me "you're healthy," for claiming they would help me when I told them I'm not healthy, then leading me on for weeks before telling me they were refusing to help even though I am sick and begging them to help me find out what's wrong.

She runs very very late, I had a 10:00 appointment and she haven't even arrived yet, there were two other people before me.. Still waiting. I walked out, my time is valuable too, I took off work for this appointment... Waste of time. Find someone who actually respects you and your time.

2 visits: 1st visit required $250 consultation fee (despite two very good insurance plans) which I didn't mind even with 2 hour wait time for only 15 minute session in hopes I had found a good doctor I could trust and talk w/ in 2nd visit after blood tests were done. 2nd visit was only 10 minutes after 1 hour wait. No time to ask questions that were of concern to me. I actually had to ask to be examined after it appeared she was rushing me out after only 5 minutes --- very unprofessional.

Missed an extremely obvious papaliomia on my throat. Ignored my concerns about ear pain then offered no treatment. Had extreme bleeding from the ears two weeks later. Never wait less then 30 min to be seen. Extremely unprofessional

I find Dr. Onat very thorough and caring. She does very complete blood work, sometimes finding problems that other doctors may miss. I like that she starts with nutritional and natural solutions, and uses drugs when necessary.
