Had the misfortune of being seen by this unprofessional per diem cardiologist while at St. Mary's hospital in Lewiston NY. I was sent there due to a low sugar incident because my local hospital had no open beds. This woman immediately put me on a no food or drink restrictions stating she would be doing a stress test in the morning, yet even the nurses knew stress tests were not done on the weekends. She shows up Saturday morning, does an EKG and an echo bubble tests and tells me I no longer had a hole in my heart. She referred to my cardiologist very rudely by his last name, told me to stop taking one of my blood pressure meds that previously had been done and I was in the hospital for nine days. I asked why I was not permitted to eat and she told me I could as she would not be doing a stress test and then implied I was abusing my other meds. AFTER this she said she would look at my records. Ignorant, disrespectful, unknowledgeable and rude. Steer clear!

I have liven in several different cities on the east coast, and so when I moved to the area I did research and chose Dr. Battaglia based on the reviews her patients have given. I am so happy I chose her. She is very patient, a good listener, communicates well and is very respectful. A rare find!

We have been a patient of Dr Battaglia for over a year and can’t be happier with her. She gets to know you, works with your other doctors very well, communicates with you in easy to understand terms and lets you know what is going on in your body and what benefits of your treatments are. She has a wonderful personality and respect for the patient and their emotions.

I was sent Northwest to do a stress test. Dr. Battaglia's attention was excellent, she reviewed my medications, my test results and proposed making changes in medications, explaining why in a very accessible way. She asked a follow up in two weeks. I looked forward to it and did my best to be there on time. Unfortunately I mixed addresses and arrived there late. The receptionist told me I had to reschedule and couldn't see her that day. I decided to go a diff. doctor closer in NF, but she's exc
