Shoulder replacement
I am a retired surgeon and did my homework to find the best surgeon to do shoulder replacement. All the local orthopedists told me that they send their problems to Dr. Cheung. My experience could not have been better. I had a regional block for 3 days after surgery and had no significant pain. My return to function has been excellent and the whole experience was flawless with Dr Cheung. I cannot recommend her more highly. She is the best.

Two years ago Dr Cheung put my impossibly shattered elbow back together again. My experience with her was all I could have asked for. Not only is she an amazingly talented surgeon but she was kind, informative, positive and thorough. I have full use of my elbow thanks to her work. I am forever grateful. I cannot recommend Dr Cheung highly enough.

9 years later, very happy with the outcome.
Dr. Cheung replaced my right shoulder on Oct. 1, 2013. Nine years later I am still extremely pleased with the outcome. I have excellent range of motion (slight loss), very little discomfort, no issues whatsoever with "day to day" activity (e.g. No problem putting luggage in overhead when traveling, etc...). This is a major operation, so do expect some recovery time, but expect a great long term outcome. At least that was my experience. For the most part I was able to resume all physical activity. (I did have to give up rock climbing, but otherwise, no restrictions or limitations.

I went to dr. Cheung for a second opinion on a shoulder that will need to be replaced. I was very happy with her. She did not push surgery. But told me I would eventually need shoulder replacement also I was happy with the size of scar and her success rate of this procedure

Shockingly bad. She was rude and claimed she had never heard of widely known meds just to get out of the room faster. Dangerously incompetent.

My husband injures his shoulder and we went to Dr. Cheung. She was great and my husband got great results. He says he feels like a new man as he was in pain for over a year before seeking help with Dr. Cheung. Answered all of our questions in an easy to understand and pleasant manner, and didn't make us feel like idiots when we asked simple/dumb questions.
