Dr. Elizabeth Hedden, MD

Dr. Hedden has been my psychiatrist for the last four years. She is a genius. I strongly disagree with the negative reviews on here. She is assertive and direct, which many people find "rude" and unprofessional in today's culture. Also, I don't understand why people see someone if they think they already have the answers. She's the professional. I have never been mistreated or prescribed anything incorrectly. Also, the staff are great; they are simply "no nonsense" and have a schedule to keep. Again, being organized and direct somehow makes them "rude," to some people.

She is wonderful. I’ve had so many psychiatrists that have not cared about me and my health, and have actually been cruel. Dr. Hedden is a great doctor! She takes the time to listen to you and recommends medications but takes your opinions into consideration. When I mentioned I had had trouble with a medication she immediately was comforting me, saying we would be extremely careful not to use medication in that class that I’d react to. She has really helped my mental health greatly.

Not very compassionate- Discouraging - this dr- is so quick to put you on meds - if you express any reservations - she basically tells you your future is doomed. You leave feeling so horrible. Her sarcasm is so unprofessional -

Very surface level. Quick to label.

The staff are rude and totally incompetent! The doctor knows about the issues, but hasn't made any steps to make it right. The doctor doesn't communicate when she's changing medications, you find that out at the pharmacy.
