Welcoming Environment and Traumatizing Approach
The office is a calm and welcoming environment. The staff members are kind and professional. However, our overall visit left much to be desired. The doctors were rushed and did not take enough time to listen to or understand our child's concerns fully. The approach was overly aggressive, insincere, and scary for a child struggling to express their emotions. When recommending a second opinion and possible medication monitoring for a young child suffering from severe anxiety, they aggressively implied they may be forcefully separated from their parents for several days. This was extremely traumatizing for the child and parents and reinforced the stigma that mental health care is scary and implied the child is bad for having anxiety, which is the opposite of what we had hoped for. While the doctors' expertise may be solid, their bedside manner needs significant improvement, particularly with children.

I have been an established patient for years and recently I can't get a response to medication refills, no one answers the phones, pharmacy or medication requests. There is zero communication from this office!

I am extremely upset with this office. I scheduled an appointment through Zodoc. The office contacted me leaving a message asking for more info. I called back multiple times and received no answer. Now it is the day of my appointment and I am told it was cancelled because I did not call. I have been waiting 2 weeks to see someone which for those struggling with mental health can attest is a long time. The office lady was non compassionate and pretty much hung up on me. I would not recommend this office

I booked this appointment a week ago and explained the senario in the appointment notes. prior to the day of appointment and on the day I have received multiple texts and emails confirming my appointment. On the day of the appointment, I have never received a link to join nor the office has my appointment. When I called the office, the staff was rude and has no idea what to do next. I elaborated the situation in the appointment very well and how important this is. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. I will rate this visit a 0 and post this review everywhere possible.

The WORST office staff I have ever encountered. He suggested an outdated treatment that honestly should not even be legal. When I told his RN I was opposed to it, she said “You have to do it and he won’t see you again until you do.” When I expressed my reasonable objections to the front desk receptionist, she hung up on me and would not answer my calls. When I finally got through, she said “Yeah, I hung up on you...mmm hmm.” Seriously? In what office is this behavior acceptable? Do not go to him

I waited 1 1/2 hours to see him. When I wanted to reschedule (b/c I had to pick up my child) The receptionist told me "Only if he will allow it," I asked, "Excuse me? Only if he will allow it?" I've never dealt with this kind of behaviour from a Dr. or staff. Very unprofessional. Since I haven't seen him, I can't say that I would refer anyone. By judging the staff, I would say that I would not refer anyone. I've been in the medical field for years and I have never treated anyone the way I was.

I was worried about poor reviews, but after my visit yesterday, I could not be in better hands. The front office staff are efficient and friendly. My wait time was nothing, and Dr. Ahmed was incredibly patient and methodical in asking lots of diagnostic questions and reviewing course of treatment and how long treatment could be expected. If my insurance plan does not cover him in 2018, I don't care. He is worth every penny necessary to see him specifically.

Dr. Ahmed is wonderful. He listened to my problem and we came up with a plan that we both felt suited my individual need. The staff at the clinic was also very wonderful and extremely accommodating to my needs. I would recommend The Psyclinic, and especially TMS therapy to anyone!!!!!

I've seen the Dr once. He forced me to see their therapist, who then told me after our session she had no idea why he recommended it and she didn't recommend anymore unless I felt I needed it. I haven't seen him since just been bounced around his med techs. I constantly have issues with booking and getting my medication. I got lost on the way to the Baytown clinic called for directions and was hung up on after being told to hurry, because I was late with no directions given. This place sucks!

Dr Ahmed is the best psychiatrist in town. Treated me and my husband after years of struggle with other psychiatrist to find the right medicine and diagnosis. My family owe him and his team a great deal of appreciatiom and respect. I would recomend him to every friend that needs help without hesitation. Some of the reviews found here are very unfair and only proofs quality of people writing them.

Webster office is extremely difficult to work with. I was able to reach an administrator in Baytown who apologized and admitted that they have an issue, both with the Webster office staff and their online booking follow up. If you choose to pursue an appointment with this doctor, I recommend you go through their Baytown office, over the phone. Or look elsewhere for an office more interested in patient care.

I saw Dr. Ahmed on my first visit and never saw him again. We talked for about 15 minutes. Now I see a nurse that doesn't seem to have any interest in me. He never asks questions or seems the slightest bit concerned. He wants to write a prescription and boot me out. Every prescription I've received has either been too much or too little. Their office communication skills are horrible as well. When I go to check out they know nothing about me. I have to remember everything they need to know..
