Dr. Elita Hohner, DO

Dr.Hohner was very nice and attentive to issues. She’s a very nice doctor and will recommend her. The staff though was very unpleasantly rude wouldn’t return calls, will put you on hold and then within seconds call will get disconnected. Then when you talk to them, they seem bother every time you ask them questions. Me: Excuse me, do I have a copayment? How much is it?Her: If you get a letter in the mail, I guess you had a co-payment.Me: Before I get the letter, I would like to pay the co-payment. Her: frowns, looks around and said we’re closing. Me: Didn't wanna argue so I just walked away.

Twisted patient’s description of conditions to justify the unnecessary orders of costly examinations. Tricky and untruthful.

Dr. Hohner has been treating me for a back injury....She has been there for me every step of the way with getting all the appropriate tests done, X-ray, MRI, and pain management until I could get in to a specialist whom she recommended and assisted me in getting into. Though she has a very busy practice, she has followed through with me quickly, and been compassionate in her help. I'm very grateful to her and the practice.

My mother saw Dr Hohner and she was so thorough in her exam. She even called me when my mom was hospitalized to let me know she was here if I had any questions. She is detail oriented. I really feel she is an excellent physician.

The doctor I had been seeing for many many years left the practice. She and I had the same attitude about my care and philosophy about medications. I was so anxious about finding a new doctor. So very pleased I chose Dr Hohner. Even though she was in the same practice as my previous doctor, Dr Hohner really was interested in not only delving into my medical history, but getting to know me as a person/patient. She spent as much time with me as necessary to get a grip on my health and exprrssed how to move forward with my care. I'm very confident in putting my health in her hands.

Looking at other reviews left me scratching my head. She's anything but rude and of course spends time looking at her computer as she's entering lots of data. I get that the office has been really disorganized and has trouble returning calls (although it's actually started to improve significantly over the last couple of months - its 2/16/23 as of this review) but this has nothing to do with Dr Hohner herself. She follows up on her own, (I've gotten phone calls checking up to see how I'm doing a couple of days after visits), she's a good listener, very thorough and very personable. I'd happily recommend her to anyone.

Absolutely the worse doctor's office you will ever deal with. Rarely return calls in a timely fashion. Delay care every possible way

Dr. Hohner was very thorough on my examination by promptly ordering additional tests required.

Terrible rushed experience. Doctor was looking at her laptop the entire time. Did not appear to be listening. Rude and unpleasant.
