Dr. Elinor Lin, MD

After having waited 2 months for it I was looking forward for my appointment with Dr Lin. But they had me wait a ridiculously long time. After an hour and a half of waiting I had to leave. The staff said they could only refund my office copay for the visit and not compensate me for all of my time. This is unreasonable: if you're late for an appointment 15 minutes they will cancel it and/or charge you. I found the front office staff to be quite unprofessional and unfriendly as well.

My mother had previously been diagnosed with Alzheimer's by another neurologist. We wanted to change specialists because the original doctor was abrupt and lacked the bedside manner required for working with someone coming to terms with such a confronting diagnosis. In our fist visit with Dr Lin, she took time to talk to my mom, investigated multiple physical symptoms, talked to her like a human being and treated her with such dignity and care. She was eventually diagnosed with Parkinson's dementia - and taken off several medications the other specialist had left her on for years without review. Thanks to Dr Lin's care, my mom is actually feeling better now than she has for the past couple of years.

She is the best neurologist I can ever meet! I have been diagnosed with complex partial seizure and have tried several medications. However, nothing worked on me and my seizure continued to happen about 18 times per month. I told my old neurologist that I am suspecting that my seizure is from hormonal changes but he did not listen. I changed to Dr. Lin and when I first visited her, she listened carefully and prescribed me hormonal seizure medication which helped me right away and I have no seizure ever since then. She saved me and I am very grateful I was able to be her patient. She knows what she is doing and she actually listens to her patients and figures out the best treatment for each patient. I love her!!

Dr. Lin is the very best at what she does. Professional dedicated and kind. Any patient, who calls her doctor, has the best treatment available.

Dr. Lin is excellent!! She is extremely knowledgeable in her field. I had a very painful nerve condition that prevented me from sleeping more than 3-4 hours/night. Her very friendly office staff were understanding and were able to schedule me an appointment very soon (despite Dr. Lin's busy schedule). My problem seemed quite mysterious so I did not expect any kind of fast diagnosis. But she ran a series of tests and figured it out. Now I am getting better. Thank you Dr. Lin!!

Very intelligent and sophisticated in choosing tests to define your condition. Easy to talk to and treats you as an equal. Discusses best options only until all tests are finished . One of the most pleasant doctors I have seen and I am a health professional. Wishing her continued success.
