I finally went in to discuss ADHD symptoms which have been impacting all areas of my life, only to be met with quick dismissal. He asked 'why do you think you have ADHD?', let me ramble a bit, barely asked any follow up questions, then hit me with: 'well, it sounds like you have time management issues' & 'you should try making lists'. (Yeah, thanks doc. In all my adult life I never thought of that.) He also said that because I have a 'good job' he doesn't think I have ADHD. (Meanwhile, I'm barely holding onto a part time, just-above-minimum-wage job with no benefits that I cannot financially support myself on, but sure.) 'You seem fine'. At the end of my rope, I explained that I'm here because I'm very not fine, have been struggling badly for a long time, & am finally seeking help. I had to push and ask if there were any other assessments I could do, then he mentioned the CPTIf you're a woman seeking help for ADHD or a condition OTHER than depression or anxiety, go elsewhere.

Dismissed most of my issues & loves stereotypes
It took me so long to get help for my adhd-like symptoms only to have him call it 'poor time management' 'anxiety' 'but you're bright and smart.' I brought in a whole spreadsheet of all my symptoms that I created specifically because people were telling me kaiser likes to not take adult ADHD seriously and instead attack you with the same words - anxiety/depression. My life has been falling apart for years and I mention specifically that what's in the spreadsheet is why I'm being diagnosed with depression/anxiety. Everything was in the spreadsheet...him and his training Doc didn't want to actually take the time to read it and instead used that against me which is MADLY ironic. In my chart it mentions that because I can make that spreadsheet I can stay focused and organized and because of this, he's perfectly fine!!! Oh and the CPT 3 test I took (avoiding the X) yea they refused to go into detail, I can't find my result anywhere, and he didn't even know what kind of test I took.

i would NOT recommend him. he ignored what was in my medical file and tried to put me back on a med that gave me organ damage and still pushed it after i told him about the complications. Then told me i had only one option for my problem and presented it as a take it or leave it. i cant take that med because it would cause the same problems as the last one i took that hurt me. i got a second opinion and there are literally TONS of other options he could have suggested
