Dr. Edward Eckert, DDS

Once you become Dr. Eckert‘s patient, he treats you like family. He has treated me for years. He knows I have serious phobias when it comes to needles and dental work related to trauma during childhood, and he handles these issues well. He’s able to accomplish things that other oral surgeons cannot. If there’s a problem, he will always work you in. I have 100% confidence in Dr. Eckert’s professionalism, skill, and judgment, and would recommend him to anyone. This is coming from another medical professional.

Newer doctors need to take a page out of Dr Eckert's book. He actually listens & cares which is something I'm not accustomed to anymore. He was very measured and thorough with my wisdom tooth removal. He administered IV antibiotics because I told him how sick they make me when taken orally. He also administered a non epinephrine numbing agent at my request and was so methodical that I never felt a thing! He popped it out before I even knew it. He also called me later that evening to see how I was doing and scheduled a followup the next week free. I had very little pain from this procedure and I guarantee you he is the best oral surgeon you'll can find in this area. I hope he never retires!

You couldn't ask for a more compassionate, gentle, seasoned oral surgeon than Dr. Eckert. I have Never needed general anesthesia when going to him local Only that is how comforting and reassuring his chair side manner and overall personality is. Our family took a very last minute trip to Conway, SC only 3 days after our eldest daughter had her wisdom teeth removed in Maine. On day 5 she was experiencing the pain of a dry socket. We called Dr. Eckert's office, explained our situation, and they scheduled her the following day. Dr. Eckert was courteous, professional, and very sympathetic to our daughters discomfort. He explained how he would treat it and what she should expect. He even followed up with a personal phone call that evening!
