I met with Dr. Wallen to work out any details with my prescriptions and what to expect during and after a procedure to extract a tooth with a cracked root. Was then scheduled for a procedure in the morning about 5 days before Christmas. All went as I expected and I rested and followed the instructions given to me and my wife. I just slept after returning home and even missed an end of the day call from Dr. Wallen to check on me. I took acetaminophen a couple times for some mild aches over the next few day and the extraction site healed before Christmas and I enjoyed my meal without trying to set any eating records. I want to thank Dr. Wallen, his surgical assistants and his office staff for great communications, kindness and professionalism that made my holiday extraction a breeze. Many thanks,

Great Experience. Had to have an emergency extraction due to a crown coming off & getting an infection in the tooth. Dr. Wallen & his staff were terrific. I was a nervous patient. They could not have been any kinder, any nicer or any more professional.

I was in horrible pain and Dr. Wallen and his wonderful staff were able to accommodate me almost immediately. Dr. Wallen and assistant were able to put me at ease and get my fractured tooth out. Highly recommend this office!! They were out of my insurance network but checked on it for me and asked me to pay only the part my insurance wouldn't pay. Very clean office and knowledgeable staff.

I am from out of town and had a tooth break. I was referred to Dr. Wallen by regular dentist. I was a little nervous given the number of one star reviews. After seeing the dentist and interacting with staff I do not understand the bad reviews. Everyone in office was nice. The dentist was very efficient and pleasant. I really wasn't interested in having a lot of small talk. Dr. Wallen was friendly. But quickly got down to business. Once he started the extraction it was done in less than 5 minutes. How can you beat that? And he called me later that evening to check on how I was doing. I was out of the office less than an hour from my appointment time. I had not had any issues other than what you would expect after having a tooth extracted. I will gladly recommend Dr. Wallen and would not hesitate using him again. Also, I got my appointment in one week. I was not in pain so that seemed very reasonable to me.

I was scheduled for an extraction today. When I arrived, there was confusion as to which tooth was coming out. The staff took me at my word when I told them which tooth. After getting the information from my dentist, he pulled the tooth that was bothering me. I get extremely upset at the dentist and struggle to not freak out and cry. The staff realized how upset I was and tried to keep me calm. Dr. Wallen was equally kind, giving me plenty of time to calm down when we were all done. As to the actual extraction, it was painless. There was the small pinch when I had the initial injection, but he did a fantastic job. His calm demeanor had a positive impact on me, even if I couldn't calm myself. Finally, that evening, he called me around 7PM to make sure I was okay. I don't know that I have ever had a doctor take the time to do a follow up, such as that. I would recommend him to anyone needing a tooth extraction.

Horrible staff! Rude! Took 3 weeks to call back with what my insurance wouldn’t cover. Dr Wallen spent 2 minutes with me and was not the friendliest person I’ve met. Couldn’t wait any longer due to an impacted wisdom tooth so went to a different Dr. I am shocked as to how this guy stays in business!

Was a nervous patient going in for an extraction. Dr Wallen and the staff made me feel comfortable and the procedure was virtually painless. Had no issues after it and Dr. Wallen even called and checked on me the evening of the procedure. Worked myself up for nothing lol Very easy experience Highly recommend him and his staff and would use them again

Very glad I was referred to Dr. Wallen. First extraction in 50 + years since my wisdom teeth. This was a painless/positive experience and would not consider going any where else for oral surgery.

Staff is garbage, oral surgeon seems attentive though. Staff refuses to call back even when they say they will and I was told I have a possible cancerous growth in my mouth. They lie to their customers' faces and back pedal when called out on it in person. I would never recommend this office to anyone!

Well, where do I begin? Do not go to this doctor. I had a growth removed by him from my tongue with sutures put in to help heal it. Only to have a huge scar form over that area. Went back to find that he had to remove that scar with more sutures used. At this point, it still is very painful and did not heal properly even with all of his post op instructions. I found out from a dentist friend of mine that the only way that I should have had the procedure done was by laser.

I had an extraction done by Wallen. I am no stranger to dental procedures and this had to be one of the worst experience I have ever had. He was very rough and seemed to be annoyed the procedure was more complex than he had first thought it would be. I have never had a dentist yell! out directions. I now find out I have a tear in my sinus cavity but refuse to allow this man to treat it. When I called another professional, I received more information over the phone what I should be doing.

Our son had his wisdom teeth removed. We watched a short video about the procedure then Dr. Wallen answered all of our questions very thoroughly and patiently. The surgery went smoothly. My son was given prescriptions for pain medications. Dr. Wallen called us the same night of the surgery to check on my son. We had a follow up check up on the 3rd day. The recovery was very quick! Dr. Wallen and the staff were very calm, courteous, and professional. Great experience, I strongly recommend him!

Had previous root canal repair surgery by an enthodonist two days before seeing Dr. Wallen; had to go to ER to treat inflection/swelling from that procedure. Dr Wallen was recommended by the hospital. He made an emergency appointment for me; quickly diagnosed immediate need to extract the tooth. He actually called me later that night to check up on my status, and made a follow-up appointment two days later. Great experience with a true professional. Jane Y.

This Dr does not care about his patients. His consultations are nothing more then him listening to himself. He's allegedly an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon but does nothing/w TMJ, Jaw Problems, doesn't have Nitrous Oxcide any where in the buildng(but his staff up front said they have it ??), he doesn't give any kind of pain medicine after a surgery(Hmmm....suspicions.(DEA) Called for a return call fr one Dr to another and the call never came. Quite rude Unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend!
