This was our first time meeting Dr. Bertram. Visit went well. He listened to concerns, etc. which was good. Was a very good visit.

Saw him, told my neurologist to cut me from 3 meds to 1-was not an EMU candidate bc I was not having Complex partial szs---simple partial szs got worse and ended up having complex partial while driving :( I am now undergoing surgical workup and current provider is livid nobody was not more aggressive-acted/treated the simple partial szs as if they were ok. As a nurse, I have 3 words-shame on them! Current MRI, WADA study, & PET scan all indicate mesial temporal lobe sclerosis (hippocampus)
