I have been seeing Dr. Gilat for several years now and I was in a very bad state when I started with him. He has helped me immensely with his discussions and meds I am now on. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Terri V.

Dr. Gilat is a great psychiatrist.

He listens the patient, most importantly, and he makes sense! If something doesn't work, he takes another approach and monitors over time. Highly recommended.

I honestly think he’s an incredible physician. I’ve seen a few psychiatric care professionals in my life - I’m in my early 30s. The last one I saw was a Nurse Practitioner who took notes and typed furiously during our 50 minute visits every two months. Did he listen? I guess, kind of. Did he type like crazy every single visit to document everything I said or did? Yes! It wasn’t necessary or all that comfortable, honestly. Dr. Gilat is significantly more professional than that, in that he is extraordinarily present in my sessions with him (which have all been virtual thus far, due to COVID). He listens emphatically! I have diagnosed ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety, and Major Depression, and his medication regimen is allowing me to actually live my life and be happy, productive, and fulfilled. To say it’s refreshing to have Dr. Gilat in my life would be an understatement. Multiple friends and family have told me how well I’ve been doing lately. I’m grateful Dr. Gilat made that possible!

Awful experience. I absolutely do not understand how these 5* reviews could be legitimate based on my experience today. This physician shows zero respect to his patient's time and I would absolutely not recommend an appointment with him to anyone

I have been going to Dr. Gilat now for over a year. Almost 2. He is wonderful. Listens, asks questions and makes each visit comfortable and open. He also has found the right medication therapy for me; which took a long time and numerous other doctors, before I started seeing him for my mental health concerns. The office staff is friendly and I always get a call back and Rx’s in a timely manner. I highly recommend Dr. Gilat and the practice.

Dr. Gilat was the first doctor I saw who was willing to be honest with me about my conditions. I had seen a psychiatrist previously who knew I had PTSD and didn't tell me. My first appointment with Dr Gilat, he told me he thought I had PTSD. (I didn't suspect that because I didn't know the symptoms.) He's honest, kind, straightforward and exudes a comforting presence, and his office just has an atmosphere of the freedom to be vulnerable.

Dr. Gilat projects calmness. He is genuine, professional and non judgmental. Office visits with Dr. Gilat are very comfortable. It is easy to talk with him about my issues or concerns. Dr. Gilat let me know that he is my friend, therapist, and my doctor. Trust between doctor and patient is critical. A good doctor can make a world of difference in a patient's life. Thank you Dr. Gilat for being committed to my well-being.

A few years ago, I saw a different psychiatrist at Central Ohio Counseling...he was terrible. After doing some research on Dr. Gilat, I decided to try this group again. I am glad that I did. Dr. Gilat is a great doctor. He is board certified, intelligent, knowledgeable in his field and very competent. He has exceeded my expectations. He asks appropriate questions and answers questions in a direct, understandable manner. I highly recommend.
