I had been exposed to Dr. Kahn through my training as a psychiatrist. That was 20 years ago. I can tell you that in the last 20 years working with many other psychiatrists and therapists across the country, Dr. Kahn stands out as the best therapist I have ever personally met. If there is ever a patient that I feel is not able to improve with multiple therapists and/or medications, I would always consider sending them to Dr. Kahn for ISTDP Therapy. If he feels the patient is appropriate for this style of therapy, there is almost nothing more effective that I have seen.
