About a month ago I was rushed to Lowell General with a twisted large intestine and perforated bowel. Luckily Dr. Campbell was there and within an hour I was on the Operating Table. He removed a foot of my large intestine and fortunately I did not need a colostomy bag. Despite this dire situation, Dr. Campbell saved my life and successfully repaired me. Dr. Campbell could not have been kinder or more sympathetic. He listened carefully and made me feel physically and mentally so much better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Campbell is an extremely skilled surgeon, but above all... a very kind and genuinely caring person. He saved my elderly mother's life twice: the first time when he performed emergency bowel surgery (after another surgeon misdiagnosed her Stage III Colon Cancer as "inflammation"); the second when he removed her spleen a few months later. I am so grateful he happened to be on call when we brought Mom to the Emergency Room.
