Patient Abandonment
If I could give her a -negative 100 I would gladly do so. I had my 4th, YES my 4TH spinal cord revision, it should not take that many to get it right. I woke up in excruciating pain in the leg that I have NEVER, EVER had any issues with. The nurse went to find Dr. Morgan and told her the situation. Dr. Morgan stated 'yes, I hit the server bundle branch on that side.' The pain was excruciating, I can take a lot of pain but that was the worst pain I have ever had in my life. And now, 8 MONTHS later is still present. Trying to walk is painful, anything touching the right lower leg is painful, ANYTHING! Wearing socks or a shoe on my right lower leg is painful, blankets at night touching my leg is painful. I was told after my surgery that Dr. Morgan retired . But obviously that is NOT TRUE. Patient abandonment, dumping all your patients on other doctors in the community or nearby cities. But suprise now, she is suddenly working again.

I miss her!
I miss DR , Morgan she was my pain management Dr for over 15 years. She is the BEST Listened explained everything on my MRI imaging , she was only Dr who ever fully took the time to educate me. The people who took her patients for med managment when she left are very different, UN compassionate , quick to get things over, Don't listen.. make me feel very low. New Doctor actually told me”they don”t usually prescribe opioids for your type of back pain” I was speechless considering Ive been prescribed them for the past 15 years. Dr Morgan if you see this, I miss you so much you were one of the best parts of my care team! You would never do what they are now doing to me. I hope you are happy and enjoying your life. Just know everyone misses you.$

Misinformation
I liked my first consult. Then I had my first treatment - it was very painful, which she warned me about, but she was also incredibly unkind and impatient. When I got my final treatment I was told I wouldn't feel pain, that I would be put under. In fact, I felt everything. The treatment was one of the most painful things I've endured. When I told her I was not 'under,' and was experience extreme pain she completely ignored me. It literally felt as though she was pounding roofing nails into my back with no pain relief at all. A hideous experience.

What a pleasure it was to get an appointment with Dr. Morgan. She came highly recommended by my husband and two friends and after seeing two other pain specialist; several injection, surgery, and continued back pain I sought the opinion of Dr. Morgan. She was thorough; professional; caring, with in-depth understandable explanations. She took the time to give several available options back with literature for my perusal. She gave me HOPE that there was a way to be in less pain. Thank you Dr. Morgan.

Very caring doctor who approaches the patient's pain as something for BOTH provider and patient to work on. Her PAs are similarly gifted. Listens well and problem solves very well. Her suggestions, and procedures, made a big difference for me.

About Me

care philosophy

My philosophy is to try to determine what the patient's pain problem is and then help them to understand it. I find that so many doctors talk "to" their patients rather than "with" their patients. I do my best to bring myself to the patient's level...read more
