Dr. Donald Girard, MD

Dr. Girard has no bedside manner. I would not recommend him to anyone.

The absolute rudest, arrogant, obnoxious doctor I have ever met and have have many health issues so I've met many. The girls up front were great, very nice and helpful. He was so awful I literally got up cursed at him and left. The appointment started out okay, he was loud and kind of short, and it just got worse and worse. It was like he didn't believe what I was saying. He told me to try elevating my bed a few inches and I told him I tried that and I have to sit straight up. He literally acted like I was lying to him. I insisted I tried it because I have an adjustable bed and he turned into a total jerk. Finally I got up and said, "you f-ing doctors that think you so smart you don't listen are the worst!" Then I walked out. By far the worst doctor I've met in 44 years while dealing with cancer and many other health problems. I could get better bedside manner in hell.

Dr. Girard has been a lifesaver for me! I’ve been to many gastroenterologist and Dr. Girard is by far the best!!! He diagnosed my condition in just one visit! I followed everything he told me to do and now I am feeling better than I’ve felt in years!! I would highly recommend Dr. Girard! His compassion and expertise is just Amazing!!!

Amazing doctor. Very Kind, compassionate. He took the time out to make me feel very comfortable before surgery and explained what he’ll be doing every step of the way. He was also available for two last minute phone calls with some concerns I had. I highly recommend him

Dr. Girard was very pleasant to work with, he was very professional and spent extra time with me to explain the small details of my upcoming surgery. I felt he went far above and beyond to accommodate me and make me feel at ease, he went way beyond what most doctors would of done. Highly recommend.

Dr. Girard is very compassionate, I have been to many drs for the same problem and he was the only one who listened and diagnosed me correctly. He really cares about his patients. He is one of the few drs left that actually takes time with his patients no matter how busy he is . I highly recommend him!

By far the worst practice I have ever been to. It literally took me 3 days of calling back to back to get an appointment scheduled. Nobody ever returned my calls not once. Finally scheduled and appointment. The office staff is very rude. At check in you could tell the office was so unorganized. There were charts and junk everywhere. Dr Girard is very short fused. NEVER EVER WILL I RETURN AGAIN.

The women staff in the office are absolutely fantastic, but doctor Girard is incredibly rude and belittling. He spoke to my fiance who was with me for support by interrogating him and making him feel unwanted and continued to give me my results in a very belitting tone. He's rude and gives younger patients a very unprofessional vibe. I will be seeking a different GI.

Have been going to Dr Girard for many years for routine colonoscopy. It wasn't until I had a problem with hemorrhoids that I realized he was not a very good doctor. I was in his office four times for banding. The procedure was very painful and had no result. I went to a surgeon and had better results with just one banding which was done in 90 seconds with no pain or bleeding. Dr Girard was not sympathetic at all and his banding process was so very painful and did not take care of anything.
