Absolutely unprofessional
Dr. Satia was extremely impatient with my ESL immigrant grandfather. After a couple of her poorly-worded questions, she misunderstood what my grandpa tried communicating in his third language, and Dr. Satia then escalated the situation by immediately saying he should have his driver's license suspended. When he tried explaining what he meant, she refused to listen - she just walked out of the room, ending the appointment without another word. My grandpa waited for about 30 min before realizing that she wasn't coming back. My grandpa's driving license was suspended immediately during that appointment, and he was forced to go through a lengthy court process before the judge (and an opinion from a different doctor who actually did her job) reinstated his license, agreeing that the original doctor had misjudged the situation. We never received an apology from Dr. Satia for her reckless "diagnosis" and bad bedside manners.

Racist, impatient, and incredibly rude
My elderly mom is slow with English, and Dr. Satia had absolutely zero patience and respect for her. What happened was inexcusable. She was rude, curt, asked few questions, gave her no opportunities to explain herself, kept stepping in and out of the appointment, and after the fifth departure, she just didn't come back. The nurse then informed my mom that Dr. Satia had left the hospital.
