Dr. Shah claimed to know how to treat an auto-immune disease. She did not know how treat it. When the disease became active, she sent us to a hospital that she was not affiliated with and it caused a lot of problems and ultimately the death of my loved one. Had she treated the disease promptly, he may still be with me today.

I wouldn’t have even given a one star but had to in order to give a review, this dr is unprofessional, insulting, shamed me, cut me off while talking, judged me, was extremely rude! Asked what my symptoms were, didn’t listen to a word I said before insulting me again. Belittled me for not remembering the exact date of a procedure I had years ago because if she had something done she would know for sure. Told me I wouldn’t understand what she had to say because I was in pain at the time. Said my pain was from probably from anxiety and depression that I should speak to a shrink. Asked why I was there, when I told her because I’m frustrated and want answers she said “ oh you have been in pain for so long, now you want answers “? I will not be back or recommend her to anyone. I told her I had left over medicine and inflammatories at home she said it sounds like I have a cabinet full of pills, implying I’m an addict or something. Accused me of lying about wearing a Fitbit. (Why would I?)

Worst experience with any physician ever!!! – Jun 24, 2020

I had several visits with Dr. Shah. She told me that she did not believe that my symptoms were autoimmune in nature despite labs that indicated otherwise and a history of psoriasis. She told me I needed to lose 100 lbs, which is true, but after switching to another rheumatologist I was indeed diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening auto-immune disorder. Her weight bias delayed important treatment. Do NOT waste your time. It’s precious.

I wouldn’t send anyone to her clinic While she seemed competent enough, she said my inflammation was due to an American diet, and soda, which I do not drink. Her male staff questioned me about syphillis and said my inflammation (in the joints) could be due to stds (also have never had). Quite frankly an insulting and experience and waste of time. If you expect to be treated with any dignity, I would avoid her clinic.

I would not recommend Dr. Shah to anyone, her staff was was not helpful, and the Dr. found issues with my blood work and than explained its in my head, and I probably drink to much soda? I went back since I was never called with my results as promised and was charged another office visit, I waited 2 hours in the lobby, and she too 3 mins with me as her staff was leaving for the day, horrible experience find a good Dr your condition also lobby and rooms were dirty.

I'd guess Rheumatology is difficult because you have a lot of unhappy patients, since a lot of diagnoses are difficult, take time. She's been nice to me each time, even though I saw complaints on other reviews. I've had other Rheum doctors, one of which was definitely more thorough in examination, but my current dx is obvious, not much detective work to do. Her practice has everything online, which is great. Once you are a patient, you can get in same or next day.

Was offered holistic instructions, not much in the way of medical information. I felt my symptoms were dismissed even though I exercise several times a week. When I asked questions, I was questioned on the level of my education and intelligence. She raised her voice at me and did not stop until I raised my voice back. Was told that Fibromyalgia patients are referred out to psychiatrists. Will not return.

Dr. Shah was very rude and disrespectful towards me. She wouldn't even allow me to explain my symptoms and the difficulty I had maneuvering around work. As if she knew what was best for me. She made it appear as if I was trying to get out of work. I had to literally cut her off, raise my voice and explain that there was no way in hell I was trying to get out of working. This woman had the audacity to judge me without knowing me. I would not recommend her to no one.

I am extremely upset and disappointed in Dr. Shah's office. I waited 9 weeks to get an appointment, just to show up to the office and the doctor had a family emergency on Friday (it's now Tuesday) and no one called me to cancel my appointment. I lost time and money at work (no PTO after maternity leave means I take time unpaid) and the office tried to make me feel like this was my fault. Horrible how they treat their new patients. I'll be going to someone else.
