Dr. Shironda Stewart, MD

A pod this office at all costs. You will never receive proper care. Extremely rude secretaries as well. Just go to the next option on your list of providers.

Shironda is very snippy and rude. Dismissive and zero empathy. Does not follow up with abnormal test results. Did I mention that their staff in the office don’t help either. Nobody can answer a phone or give accurate medical information. They would rather you text message— but they don’t answer those either. She will also never respond to questions in your patient portal. She needs to find a new profession bc she hates her job.

I went to this “Doctor” about a month or two ago. She told me there was nothing wrong with me and sat behind her desk the whole time. I went and got a second opinion and it turns out that I have Lupus and one other autoimmune disease. She keeps getting my reviews taken down but I’ll keep writing if it means saving someone’s life.

Horrible doctor does not have knowledge of fibromyalgia. Does not care about patients. Rude and inconsiderate. She is not interested in helping patients. She treated my elderly mother very poorly. She admitted that she doesn't know how to deal with fibromyalgia patients and their medication. Very judgmental, doesn't show understanding to patients with depression or mental health issues.Don't waste your time with her. She needs to be reported to the medical board and find a new job.

I have extreme anxiety when I have to go to any doctor. I made an appt. to see Dr. Stewart for my RA. It was to be the first appt. with her which ramped up my anxiety even further. My appt. was at 2:00. I got there a bit early and checked in. I was taken back to the room within a few minutes. I met with the nurse first. Gave her needed info and pretty quickly, Dr. Stewart came in. She took the time to go over all info. and address any of my concerns. She did a thorough exam, more thoroughly than my prior Dr. ever did in the 3 years I had been seeing her. We discussed potential treatments and decided what would be best. Dr. Stewart is very likeable, very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I could feel my anxiety lessening because of the caring personality of Dr. Stewart. Since my first visit I have had several appointments with Dr. Stewart. She has always done an exam, reviewed my medication and discussed the treatment plan. I’d highly recommend.

This was my first visit. Very nice office with pleasant staff. Dr. Stewart was very kind and took time to talk with me and not rush me out to get to the next patient. That is important to me. It makes me feel like I matter.

I would highly recommend this doctor to people who have my condition, which is RA. I didn’t wait a long time in patient’s room before she came in. She’s engaging and a good listener and I feel she answered all my questions and concerns about my future path of treatment. She is very good at explaining all aspects of disease progression, meds and path of treatment.

Dr Stewart is very professional, knowledgeable, thorough & approachable and that makes the visits more pleasant. She does much more and asks much more than my previous RA doctor and that speaks volume to me!

Dr Stewart is the most knowledgeable, professional, and personable provider I have seen in many years. She has changed my life in managing my RA. I highly recommend her.

I explained I want someone who cares, will "fight" for me and won't rush. I got everything I didn't want. I saw the reviews and still tried her because there were a few good reviews. The reviews I saw stated her bedside manner needed work, appointments were made and then arrive to find no appointment as well as she seemed short. I experienced 2 of the 3. After my initial appt, I was told the office staff would call me for the follow up that was due 4 weeks later. 4 weeks arrived, I called them. I get an appointment and only to have be 5 min late to my appointment only to tell me that I was exceeding my 20 min window which I wasn't aware of. I don't make a big deal about 15 min usually. Additionally, any previous case notes on my condition, seemed like she was reading it for the 1st time during my little 20 min appt. All in all, I think if you have mild symptoms & don't need a lot from your doctor. Otherwise go somewhere where you can receive care and the attention.
